Moxie Jean – What I’m Sending In

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

Much like I did with thredUP(*), I am sending in some of the boys clothes to Moxie Jean to see what happens. I have heard that Moxie Jean pays out more than thredUP and processes bags more quickly, so I am excited to see if this is true and compare the two! Moxie Jean accepts “like-new kids’ clothing in newborn through size 8. All clothing has to be in excellent condition, which means no stains, holes, excessive wash wear, frayed edges, oily spots, etc.” This is slightly different than thredUP which only accepts clothing 12 months and up. However, thredUP also accepts Women’s clothing, where Moxie Jean does not.

Okay, here’s what I am sending in:
Collages11

~BabyGap Fleece Hoodie: 0-3 months
~BabyGap Plaid Buttoned Long Sleeved Plaid Onesie: 6-12 months
~BabyGap Cream Sweater: 6-12 Months
~The Littlest Sparrow Two Piece Outfit (I think this came from Wittlebee): 12-18 months
~BabyGap Argyle Sweater Vest: 12-18 months
~Vitamins Baby Set (from Nordstrom): 9 months
~Ralph Lauren Sweater Vest: 9 months
~BabyGap Plaid Button Down: 4T
~BabyGap Purple Striped Sweater: 4T
~BabyGap Khaki Pants: 4T
~BabyGap Snow Suit: 6-12 months

Like with thredUP I have no real expectations.  I am taking it as a fun experiment and again would be happy with around $40?  That’s just a tad under $4/item.

I’m mailing my bag out to Moxie Jean tomorrow and will certainly report back when I get a payout total!  In the mean time, if you want to shop at Moxie Jean, click here and you’ll get $10 off your first order of $20 or more!

(*) I sent in my bag on 6/21, they received it on 6/27 and sent an e-mail saying processing would take up to two weeks. Then I got another e-mail on 7/5 saying that I could expect a payout by 7/20 and if I didn’t get anything by that time to e-mail them. As of today (7/11), I’ve gotten nothing.
