Unlike the last few weeks which were Sunday Social repeats, I can’t recall if we did this one before and didn’t see it in the two seconds I took to search for it, so here goes!
1. What is your all-time favorite song?
I am horrible at this because I never actually know the names of songs. I just know I like it. I’m going with Hotel California by the Eagles. It brings back lots of good memories and I always smile when I hear it. Same goes for Brown Eyed Girl!
2. Who is your favorite singer/band?
These days I’m loving Mumford & Sons, P!nk, Imagine Dragons, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and The Lumineers. Of all time, I love The Beastie Boys, U2, Johnny Cash, Nirvana, etc.
3. What song reminds you of your childhood?
Any Michael Jackson & Madonna 80’s stuff, Neil Diamond (I saw him in concert – don’t be jealous), Run DMC, Rod Stewart and all those early MTV music video songs.
4. What songs put you in a good mood?
Hmm, fun bar songs do the trick. “I Gotta Feeling”, “Party Rock Anthem”, Biz Markie (please you know you sign along when Just a Friend comes on), Kid Rock stuff, you get the idea. I don’t need to go out to be in a good mood! The songs alone do the trick. Anything by Chris Brown and Kayne West make me annoyed though. I don’t dispute their talent, I just don’t care for them!
5. What is your music to rock out to in your car?
Ha! Whatever is on the radio really. If WB is being crazy we rock out to Rockabye Baby lullabies. But he’s usually good, so it’s usually today’s hit music kind of stations. Or if we are in B’s car (he has Sirius), it’s Alt Nation.
6. What is the most embarrassing album or song you own?
I believe I am the proud owner of a Milli Vanilli cassette tape. However, I am not at all embarrassed by this. Girl You Know It’s True was a GOOD song. Too bad they weren’t really singing it, but whatever.
