10 Storks - Month 1
10 Storks – Month 1

10 Storks is a brand new monthly subscription box for moms-to-be. 10 Storks offers 9 customized boxes for moms-to-be – one for each month of pregnancy and a 10th box (which is free with a 9-month subscription) for the baby! Boxes include essentials like pre-natal vitamins and baby books & luxuries like chocolate, tea, and body butter.

I should mention that I am not pregnant, but when 10 Storks asked me if I wanted to check out their subscription, of course I said yes!  I received Months 1 and 2, but decided to begin with Box 1.

The Box

10 Storks boxes are cute silver boxes and are packaged like a gift.  And since people might want to send this as a gift, I will mention that there is no packing slip or anything indicating a price in it.

First Look
Second First Look

The first (and second) look had me very excited!  The packaging is great and could tell someone spent a great time of time packaging everything and making it perfect.

The Letter / Information Card

10 Storks has a combination letter / information card.  The letter discusses the products included in the box, why they were selected and the stage of pregnancy. Here is what Month 1 included:

~Nature Made Prenatal Vitamin + DHA ($13.99): Prenatals are no joke and I have actually heard that over the counter and prescription prenatals are just about the same.  I even like them when I am not pregnant!

Nature Made Prenatal Vitamin + DHA

~What to Expect: Eating Well ($11.48): I’ve read some books from the What to Expect series, but I did not know this even existed.  It includes which an eating plan for pregnant women, as well as, which foods to avoid.

What to Expect: Eating Well

~Mom’s Organizer ($11.89): This planner has sections for kids activities, mom appointments, etc., as well as, a removable contacts book! I was JUST talking about planners and am still looking for tips on how I can make myself use them more.  Thinking back, I can’t even remember how I used to track all my appointments with WB?  I lived at my doctors office when I was pregnant!

Mom’s Organizer

~Burt’s Bees Lip Balm and Facial Towelettes ($4.99): I love Burt’s Bees and I love lip balm, so this perfect!  My skin always breaks out like crazy those first few pregnancy months, so towelettes are great!

Burt’sBees Lip Balm and Facial Towelettes

~Ghiradelli Chocolates ($3.95): Does anyone not like chocolate when they are pregnant?  I know I did 😉

Ghiradelli Chocolates

~Organic Dried Apricots ($3.37): I didn’t know this (probably because I have never read the book that was included in this box), but apricots naturally contain small amounts of iron and folic acid, which supports fetal development.

Organic Dried Apricots

All totaled the Month 1 10 Storks box had a value of $49.67.  Boxes are $40/month and, like I mentioned before, if you you a free 10th box if you purchase a 9-month subscription.  I love the idea of a special box for pregnancy because, let’s face it, when you are sick daily, dead tired and feeling huge, a box of goodies in the mail is exactly what you need!

What do you think of 10 Storks?  Interested in signing up or just want to learn more?  Click here.  And I will be back soon with the Month 2 box!

Disclosure: This box was received free of charge in exchange for an honest review. As always, all opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
