Bonjour Jolie is a mother-daughter company that provides what you need, as well as what you want, to sail through your monthly periods with ease. Their company is focused on providing a monthly subscription service that discreetly delivers the feminine supplies you need along with product samples and a few things to pamper and sooth you too.
Bonjour Jolie ships via USPS Priority Mail and promises to arrive according to your cycle dates which you select when you sign up. They ship to the US and Canada and aim to make your life just a bit easier!
I always look forward to seeing what Bonjour Jolie is going to bring me each month. Not only do they include the supplies you need, they also include lots of fun surprises!
The August Bonjour Jolie theme is “Honoring the Feminine” and is described as “In August’s Box, We Feature All Women Owned Business”. Here’s what it included:
The Supplies: You can pick from any combination of 30 items – pads or tampons and can get any size or brand you want. And I always try to figure out how to take an attractive picture of pads and tampons and I think this month’s is my favorite so far.
The Gift:
~Silver and Stone Bracelet ($14): This bracelet was imported from Peru and was hand crafted by local women. It’s not something I could normally wear, but I do appreciate the cause so I will make it a point to wear it.
The Edibles:
~Leccare Lollipops ($3): Of course, I like when they send chocolates, but I do love these fancy lollipops too. I am going to try the raspberry lemon cream and plan to give L the peach cobbler when he gets home from up-north!
~Just Add Honey Tea Company ($3.50): Believe it or not, I actually want to try the chocolate delight tea. Crazy right? The rest of it will have to be B’s though.
The Pampering:
~Organic Herbal Hand Scrub ($2): I don’t love this scent, but I will use it this winter when my hands need a treat!
~Happy Hands Lotion ($1): This lotion is non-greasy and won’t transfer to your fiber handiwork. I received this a few months ago in a KnitCrate and gave it to my mom, but I’m keeping these!!
~Scaredy Cat Mineral Eye Shadow ($1.50): I love this color and love that they included an applicator(s) to use with it!
~Herbal Bath Salts ($1): I need to remember to put these bath salts that I get in B’s bins (we have separate product bins) so he always has some for his baths. He’s got some long runs coming up and will be needing them! Period boxes have something for everyone!
~Sensibles Sanitary Bags ($1): I’m not sure I knew such a thing existed, but I do know about problems people have had with sewers and septic tanks by flushing things!
As usual, I didn’t do a total value on this box because when it gets to valuing pad and tampons out of the box, well, that’s a little much. But I came up with a quick and dirty calculation of $37 for the August box. Since the box is $21/month, I’d say that’s a great deal!!!
