Eeeek! My August GLOSSYBOX appeared in my mailbox today! Actually I think my mail lady just handed it to B, but close enough. I couldn’t wait to escape the garage sale (more on that later) for a few minutes and open it up.
GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and I don’t know how long it took to arrive since I haven’t gotten the shipping notification yet. It was fairly fast this month though since they sometimes doesn’t arrive until the last few days of the month.
As always I am loving the GLOSSYBOX box. I am super excited about the GLOSSYBOX Best of Britain Box (the actual box) because it so cute. I save all my GB boxes to store treasures in. They are so sturdy and nice!
I’ve been so garage sale occupied I haven’t even gotten a chance to look for GLOSSYBOX spoilers. The first look had me excited though since everything looked great!
The August GLOSSYBOX theme was “Bohemian Summer” and was all about capturing those last few summer moments and taking some time for one last summer vacation or weekend getaway. This month GLOSSYBOX has gathered a collection of products you can use all year round, but of course there’s nothing like enjoying them now.
Here’s what was included:
~Anatomicals Spray Misty for Me Facial Spray ($9): I sprayed this on my face right away and it felt great! I wasn’t expecting the smell though (it’s got calming lavender and refreshing peppermint extract). It’s not a bad smell, it’s just not what I was expecting.
~Novex Brazilian Keraton Hair Care Treatment Cream ($4.99): Ohh, now this is one item I have always had my eye on and just haven’t gotten around to picking up yet. I plan to leave it in my hair and then blowdry. I cannot wait to give this a go.
~Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush (Marshmallow Pink) ($18.69): I did the conversion on this and was shocked to find out I was holding a $19 lip crayon. It’s possible I knew this when GLOSSYBOX announced this would be in all boxes, but I must have forgotten. Regardless I love it and am quite happy about it!
~Pandora’s Nail Polish ($12.25): This polish were made just for GLOSSYBOX and doesn’t have a color listed. Thanks to Jenny‘s tip, I am going to test this polish out by applying a clear matte coat (I got one in a Fancy box earlier in the month) and then I plan to use this. I always have such trouble with sheer polishes, so hopefully this tip works!
~Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Pressed Powder (Quiet & Still) ($28): I was a bit worried about the shade I was going to end up with, but happily I got a great shade which will be perfect for my pale winter skin!
~GUESS/GLOSSYBOX Denim Pouch: Wow, this took me back to the day! Guess jeans were all the rage when I was in middle school and I enjoyed this bit of retro today! The box also includes a 30% off coupon at GUESS.
All totaled the August GLOSSYBOX had a value of $72.93. GLOSSYBOX is only $21/month (and you can get $2.75 cash back through ebates) and is one of my favorite subscriptions. I LOVE them and they always have brands and products I never see anywhere else!
