August Little Miss Goodie Bags

Little Miss Goodies Bags is a brand new monthly subscription box which brings you decorations and ideas to have a theme party for 8. Parties are filled with homemade and handpicked items geared towards everyone! They are great for family night, playgroups, girls night out, neighborhood block parties and when they asked me if I’d want to check out a box, of course I was thrilled because this is right up my alley.

The Box

Little Miss Goodie Bags ships via USPS Priority Mail and arrived in two days. I know Priority Mail recently switched the way they did things a bit and I am liking the changes.

First Look

I couldn’t have been more excited by the first look. Everything looked adorable and I was already plotting in my head what I could do with them all!

Inside the Package

The wrapped package contained even more supplies, including the cutest orange chevron straws!

The Information Card

The August Little Miss Goodie Bag theme was “Gone Surfin'” and gave various ideas to set up your own snack bar using the enclosed goodies.  Ideas included Catch of the Day (Gummy Fish and Gummy Sharks), See Weed (Green Licorice), Beach Balls (Gumballs), etc.

~Cupcake Papers: The suggestion for this, was of course, cupcakes or also blue Jello cups.  I personally was thinking maybe Jello cut into fish shapes or even blue jello in these cups with swedish fish in it?

Cupcake Papers

~Banner: Cute alone or even cuter with another layer on it.  If you are using the items for a birthday party, maybe a name or even just to label the snack table!  I love the colors and the papers in this!

~Placecards: Can either be used as placecards for guests or to label foods!  I LOVE when food is labeled at parties.  I like to know exactly what I am eating ;).

Place cards

~Paper Straws: Probably my favorite item in the box!  Orange chevron straws! Would look adorable in mason jars (which we have a zillion of because we haven’t canned anything yet this year).

Paper Straws

~Metal Snack Pails: A super cute way to serve individual snacks or to put goodie bag goodies in!

Snack Tins

~Drink Decorations: You can either use these as drink decorations (think like a drink umbrella) for your blue drink (adult or otherwise) or I was thinking as cupcake toppers!  I was also thinking if you were doing drinks you could throw a few gummy fish or sharks! We use to go to this bar in college (the Landshark) that served giant fishbowls (yeah basically a pile of booze in a big fish bowl) with a million straws and a bunch of gummy sharks.  I am thinking of the same sort of thing here.  Except 100x cuter!

Drink Decorations

Paper Pom-Poms: I didn’t fluff these, but you know what they look like!  I would have loved to see some bright colored ones to match the theme, but I thought it might be fun to try and dye them!  Has anyone ever tried such a thing?  It’s possible right?

Pom Poms

I totally loved my first Little Miss Goodie Bags Party and I think it’s a great idea for busy moms who want to have adorable parties, but might not have the time to put it all together.  Prices range from $39.95 (one month) to $29.95 (12 months).  If you throw a lot of parties or host a lot of playgroups, I’d do the 12 months!  I don’t host a ton, so I would probably just do a few months here and there.  You can also buy single party packs on the site. I *believe* next month’s party pack is PIRATE related, which I can’t wait to see!
