Petit Vour is a new(ish) monthly subscription box of cruelty-free beauty products, hand-picked from businesses that align quality with progressive standards. You can expect to receive beauty & grooming samples from brands like AHAVA, Boscia, DuWop, Hourglass, LUSH, Pacifica & Tarte.
Petit Vour ships via USPS First Class Mail and took maybe two days to arrive to me (in MI) from Texas. The box size is comparable to the size of a Birchbox – maybe a tad smaller.
My first thoughts of the box was that it smelled very floral! I could actually smell it before I even opened the box. I wonder if my mailperson (it’s sometimes a man, sometimes a woman) ever wonders what on earth is in these scented boxes!
Petit Vour doesn’t have a theme, but the August box focused on “lightweight, nutrient dense items that do our bodies good, from head to toe”. Where is what the box included:
~Bodyography Veil Foundation Primer ($10): This goes on before your foundation and gives you a silky smooth, long lasting base. I don’t wear foundation often (I’m more of a BB cream girl), but next time I do, I am going to test this out for sure.
~Kelapo 100% Virgin Coconut Oil ($0.42): I am SO using this tonight. You can cook with it, or put it on your hair as a deep conditioner and leave it on for an hour. I am assuming you put it on wet hair, but I need to verify that.
~Kroma Makeup Botanical Lipgloss / Lipstick ($29): I don’t know if you can tell from my picture, but this is a split container. You get lipgloss on one side and lipstick on the other side. I totally love this idea and the colors are great!
~Enfusia Dead Sea Bath Salts ($2.99): If you haven’t guessed, this was the item that smelled! B’s bin (he has his own bin in my supply closet with his samples and products) is filling up nicely with bath products. I love the idea of baths and this certainly does smell good, but I don’t think I will ever be a bath person.
~Shoreganics Lip Balm and Body Lotion ($4): You know I put this lip balm on right away and I pleased to report that it’s great. It goes on smooth and smells nice. Shoreganics products are made in small batches and, of course are 100% vegan.
All totaled, the August Petit Vour box had a value of $46.41. The box itself is only $15/month (and even less if you get a 3- or 6 month subscription) and is looks to be a great way to sample vegan products!
What do you think of Petit Vour? Something you’d be interested in? Happily Petit Vour wants to give one of you guys an August box (just like this one) so you can sample everything too! All you gotta do is enter in Rafflecopter and cross your fingers! Good luck!
