August 2013 Tyler Florence Fancy Box

It’s a Fancy Box week around here!  Yesterday was my August Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box (*) and today it’s the August Tyler Florence Box!

The Box

As always Fancy ships via FedEx and it took two days to arrive.  My FedEx lady is totally fascinated by Fancy and always wants me to explain what Fancy is to her.  I should invite her in for an unboxing!  Although she then might think I was even crazier!

First Look

A reader sent me the spoilers to this box yesterday (which I LOVED since I love me some spoilers!) so I knew what to expect (or I thought I did).  The box was heavy, but I knew why ;).

The Information Cards

Yep, I am still loving the Fancy information cards even though they look like they got eaten by a dog.  Cutest little information cards ever!  I’m going to end up on Hoarders one day, crying because I won’t be able to part with my precious information cards.  I just can’t through these cards (or any of them) away!

~Corkcicle Chillsner Beer Chiller ($35): I was expecting a Corkcicle Wine Chiller (I guess some boxes are getting them), which I received a few months ago in a Coco Rocha box.  I wouldn’t have minded the spare (it’s not their problem I subscribe to so many of their boxes), but I was thrilled to open the box and see the Chillsner!  I *almost* bought these for B over the summer at Sur La Table. I am so glad I didn’t!  It’s suppose to be nice this weekend so I’m hoping B gets a chance to test them out on the patio!

~The Garden Deck by Frausto & Co ($16):  We have a fairly big garden now and B is planning a crazy huge garden for next year, so these are a totally welcome item.  I know that B will consult them when he’s working on his design (every time we are outside he gives me a rundown of it all)!

~Umbra Cuppa Measuring Cup Set ($10): I have measuring cups already (doesn’t everyone), but if I needed them I would order Tupperware ones ;).  However, I think these will make nice stacking cups for WB.  Or I will save them for a housewarming type gift down the road.

~Man Law Cast Iron Grill Press ($30): I wear we used to have one of these (or something similar), but I have no idea where it is.  It’s a welcome item for sure and grilling season never ends at our house!

All totaled, the August Tyler Florence Fancy Box had a value of $91, which as always, is far beyond the cost of the box itself (Fancy Boxes are $39 + $7.95 shipping).  I didn’t love this box as much as the past few TF boxes, but I think that’s only because this one had fewer items!

Did you get the August TF Fancy Box?  What was your favorite item?  If you are thinking of ordering this or ANY of the Fancy Boxes, click here and get on it! You can always use the coupon code “FOLLOWUP10″ to save 10% on any Fancy.com, order, including subscription boxes.  (And yes, I am still on the hunt for a bigger code).  If you can’t find the Fancy Box you are looking for, I suggest just doing search for “Fancy Box“. It’s much easier than trying to navigate their site.

(*) Upon popular request, I tested out the Caite Rainbow Caviar Polish Set I received in my box yesterday. I instagramed a picture here. It’s fair to say I love it. Super easy to apply and so far the beads are staying put!
