Favorite Freebie Sites!

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

I got some fun freebies in the mail today (namely a coupon code $25 off two bottles of Vita Frute) and it got me thinking about freebie websites. I used to be so good at requesting freebies, knowing when they’d be offered, etc. but I’ve been slacking on that.

I’m going to list a few of my favorite sites and then I am hoping that you all will clue me into some that I am missing and I will update my list!

~BzzAgent:  BZZAgent offers campaigns to their users based on the profile you complete when you sign up.  I haven’t logged in BzzAgent in a while, but used to be fairly active and have gotten some fun campaigns.  I just looked and I have a campaign from Comforts for Baby, which is Kroger’s line of baby care items.  I’m all over that and applied right away!
~Chatterbox: Chatterbox is a sister company to House Party, but doesn’t require the party part that House Party requires.
~Hip2Save: Not really a freebie website, but Colin always posts about freebie offers from all over the place. She is awesome.
~House Party: House Party gives you the opportunity to host parties in your phone to test out / sample / enjoy products in exchange for feedback from you and your guests.  You can apply for as many parties as you want and if you are selected, they will send you tons of fabulous goodies.
~Influenster: Influenster is a site that allows it’s members “influensters” join together to review products and share their thoughts online.  It’s invite only, but you can request one online.  Or a have a few still if you really want one.
~Klout: I will be the first to tell you that I don’t “get” Klout. Basically it appears that you link up your social networks (Instagram, FB, Twitter, etc.) and then are offered “perks” based on your activity? I’ll randomly get an e-mail saying I have a Klout perk available and it’ll ask me if I want to claim it. If I’m interested (like I was with the Vita Frute), I’ll accept. Otherwise, I pass.
~MomSelect:  A program that allows you to share new products with at in-home parties, whatever.  You select the campaigns you are interested in (lots of kid friendly stuff) and they send you the goodies!
~Moms Meet: Another moms program that sends you goodies to test out with your playgroups / mommy groups, etc.  Again you can select and apply for just the programs you are interested in!
~Swaggable:  Swaggable is another site that connects brands with people who are wanting to try their products.  I just signed up, so I haven’t gotten any “swag” yet, but hopefully soon!

That’s my list!  I can’t wait to hear some of your favorite freebie sites!!!

I just signed up with Swaggable, Influenster, House Party and Chatterbox…as always thank you very much for making this blogging experience so pleasant.

I signed up for Swaggable tonight and already got an offer. Brownie brittle…uh, yes please! Thanks for sharing!

Also, if you have a lot of people that ask about Influenster invites, I have some available if you run out.

Klout is more about online reputation and ability to engage followers. I don’t think of it as a freebie site. It’s more of a bonus.

  4. In my opinion, most of those websites are more time consuming than they are worth. I have been a member of Bzz Agent and House Party for 6 years or so. I like house party, but the party still costs you money. I don’t “get” klout either, I almost never log in! I do like Vocal Point.

Great list! I use a lot of these. I have had quite a few parties through House Party but have yet to receive anything from Chatterbox. Have you had a lot of success with Chatterbox?

I found with Swaggable that if you go to the tab that says “Feed” you can see people getting samples. Usually a whole bunch of people will be recieving the same sample. Click on that sample they’re recieving and “want” it. As soon as I do that I get invited to recieve the sample.

I’ve been a member of House Party for a few years and have hosted several parties. I am actually hosting one soon for a new preschool cartoon featured on Nick Jr.

As far as “freebies” go, I always check the Target and Wal-Mart sample sites for new free samples. I also check Mommysavesbig for any good deals/free stuff.

After reading other comments, Swaggable seems like a promising site. I checked out the website but wondering…is the only way to sign up though facebook?

Have you done vocalpoint yet? Right now they have a coupon for a hair color but sometimes coupons just show up in my mailbox from them and I have no idea why. I also used to do SheSpeaks alot and used to get things but I’ve been bad about following through with that. I used to win things all the time from my newspaper, tv stations etc and I would enter all the time but I’ve been slacking lately and really should get back into it so I can get more freebies. 🙂

fyi: be careful responding to some of these deals. I signed up for a Citrus Lane deal advertised on hip2save. hip2save had (according to citruslane) messed up which months were included in the deal. Anyway, long story short, it has been a hassle. The horrible customer service from citruslane has been unbelievable! Do they even care about their reputation? They are spending more $ to not give me the deal than they would have had they honored the mistake. Just a little venting here on my part!

Sweet Free Stuff and Dealicious Mom is where I go to snag samples/freebies.

We use most of those, great list! Bzz Agent alone keeps our mailbox full!
