~First of all, I’m not sure about that new Thursday Thoughts button, so don’t feel like you need to change it. I’m going to tweak it a little and come up with something final – hopefully by next week. I wish Photoshop and I were just a little bit friendlier ;).
~I mentioned it on Facebook, but I got my thredUP payment earlier this week! If you’ll recall, I sent in a bag filled with my old clothes on 8.28.13 and got an estimated payout date of 10.3.13. However, I got a payout e-mail on Monday (9.23.13)!! For the 11 items they accepted, I received $84.60! Holla! I sent in a lot of higher end stuff (Citizens of Humanity, JCrew, North Face, etc.) and was hoping for a good payout, but this was even more than I was expecting. I have NO clue what all I sent in, so I don’t know if there were items they didn’t accept, but I don’t even care! I have another bag waiting to be processed (it has an estimated date of 10.17.13), so now I am even more curious about that one! I’ll report back of course.
~I’ve been catching up on all the old episodes of Hardcore Pawn during naptime and while I know this is all totally fake, I still wish I had something to go down there (it’s in Detroit – aka not far from me) and try to pawn. It’s so entertaining! Oh wait, I’d prefer to go on Antiques Roadshow! Why don’t I (or my parents or my grandma) have one of those attics filled with rare treasures?
~Okay, so what on earth is going on with Lamar Odom? Now people are sending fake tweets from his twitter account? What? Is he okay? Can someone go check on him please? Maybe some NBA people??? Seriously.
~Congrats to Elise N. who won the September PopSugar Must Have Box and Jessica D**z who won the Fall Favorites Giveaway!! I’ve heard back from Elise, but haven’r heard back from Jessica yet. Where are you girl??
~L has a nursery rhyme show at school today and I am so excited for it! They have been practicing for weeks and weeks and all the kindergartens are performing so it should be highly entertaining. I am certain that 99% of the parents will be filming the performance, and I don’t understand why they don’t just have one person filming and just send everyone copies. I want to just sit and enjoy the show, B can’t go so I feel like I have to video it (or at least part of it) so he can see it too.
~It’s that time of year where I am left stressing about Christmas Card pictures! Ugh. I know I need to get something scheduled SOON if I want to get the leaves changing colors and all that fun stuff in my pictures (I was too late last year + it was freezing out). I do kind of want to do something different this year. I don’t know what, but different. Any ideas??
