As I was happily snuggled on the couch last night (which is basically like every night here) with my baby (L’s is up-north) sleeping upstairs and watching B get ready for this marathon today, I realized I could probably be described as a homebody. Or least a night time homebody. I don’t mind being out of the house running around doing stuff for the entire day, but once night time rolls and it starts getting dark out, I just want to go home. Maybe it’s because I am so used to being at home at night? I don’t know.
Now on vacation, that’s a different story! I am more than happy to go on any and all vacations possible and don’t care for one second I’m not sleeping on my own bed. Going to a hotel and having someone make my bed every day and if they have turn down service? All the better!
What about you? Do prefer to be at home or would you rather be out and about? Or are you like me and does it depend on what’s going on or where you are? I mean I’d pick a Vegas casino over my couch any day of the week. But I’d pick my couch or a work dinner or something along those lines every time!
I’m totally with you on this one. I’m sure most would say I’m a homebody since I don’t go out caravan-ting at night but I love to be out of the house during the day and vacations I could do one of those every week 😉
We tend to be home at night. I don’t mind 2-3 nights out during the week, but I try not to over schedule so I am home at night.
I love to be out and about doing things, but I find I do like to be at home with R at night. It’s hard sometimes due to my school and work schedules, but it’s definitely my preference. Now during the day…well that’s a different story! I am super busy and on the go and I love it.

This is a tough one for me. I would have said I wasn’t a homebody. I do a lot of community theatre and wind up rehearsing nights, and I love traveling and going out with friends, but my husband and I just moved down to Miami about 6 weeks ago and we’re living in an extended stay type of place while we’re getting our new place ready and all I want is to get settled and be among my own things and in my own bed.
Then maybe I can start going out nights again. 🙂
