October Bonjour Jolie
October Bonjour Jolie

Bonjour Jolie is a mother-daughter company that provides what you need, as well as what you want, to sail through your monthly periods with ease. Their company is focused on providing a monthly subscription service that discreetly delivers the feminine supplies you need along with product samples and a few things to pamper and sooth you too.

The Box

Bonjour Jolie ships via USPS Priority Mail (2 Day) and promises to arrive according to your cycle dates which are selected when you sign up. If needed, you an adjust the dates online without a problem.

I am (finally) switching all my pictures from my old laptop to my new laptop and this month’s first look picture seems to have gotten lost in the fray.  Or I didn’t take one?  Either way I am trying to be SO much better about deleting box pictures after I upload them here otherwise it gets to be too much.

The Information Card

The October Bonjour Jolie theme is “Falling for You”and includes items you need to make a special day just for yourself.  *Maybe* with the upcoming time change and that extra hour, I’ll find an hour for me?  I’m certainly going to try!  Here’s what the October box contained:

~The Supplies: Bonjour Jolie allows you to select any combination of 25 (I thought it used to be 30 but the site says 25 now) items – pads or tampons and can get any size or brand you want.  They offer tons of brands (you can see them here) and also offer Softcup, and NatraCare Organic.

Supplies

~Complete Nail Spa Package ($16): Probably one of my most favorite Bonjour Jolie gifts yet!  How fun does this Sally Hansen Color Quick Polish Pen look?  I love it and NEED to try it next.  The kit also includes a nail file, nail polish pads, argon oil (for cuticles) and a cuticle stick.  Love it!

~Chocolate Covered Pumpkin Pie by Russell Stover ($1): I am putting together little gifts for L and WB for Halloween and this is going in L’s.  And hopefully he lets me try it!

~Dessert Teas by Davidson Tea Company ($1.85): This couldn’t have come at a better time.  No.  Seriously.  I brought my cousin a huge box of tea I have collected from boxes over the past few months and included these. She is pretty much hitting the tea jackpot this weekend!

~Tipsy Pumpkin Soap by StarFire Creations ($1):  This is a perfect seasonal item, smells great and B will love it.  He uses bar soap all the time now and always asks what kinds he has to pick from when he runs out of one.

~HelpingHands Apricot and Ginseng Hand Scrub ($2): My scrub opened while it was on it’s way to me (boo), and I didn’t want to open it up and scoop it out, but I opened the bag (carefully) and it does smell good!  In retrospect, I should have opened it up and touched it because yeah, it is hand scrub and who cares if it gets on my hands? It’s suppose to!

~Solid Lotion Bar by Faith Soaps and Love: ($2.50) I used this right away and I love it!  I love lotion bars and once I figure out how to store them better they will be a staple in my house.

~Music Download Card from Rorie Kelly: I haven’t gotten a chance to listen to this yet, but it’s certainly a different item to see in a subscription box. I don’t often get artist downloads, but I do wish that when I did they came in iTunes form.

~La Fresh Feminine Wipes & Advil ($1.50): I love seeing all this La Fresh!  I get them in lots of boxes and never have to buy anything which is great.  And I’d never kick on Advil out of my purse.  A total essential.

I never do a detailed cost breakdown, but I came up with a quick total of about $30 for this box! Bonjour Jolie is $21/month and is always worth more than the cost.  Plus it total saves you from having to go to the store and remember to pick up supplies for that time of the month!

What do you think of Bonjour Jolie?  Do you like the idea of never having to run to the store and getting fun gifts every month?  If you are interested in subscribing or just want some more details, click here.

Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. As always, all opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
