October Bunny’s Furr and Feathers FunPacks

Bunny’s Furr and Feathers FunPacks are monthly subscription boxes for your furry friends. They kindly sent me a dog box to review for my boys, but they also offer boxes for cats, birds (small, medium, & large), rabbits, ferrets and guinea pigs!  FunPacks contain 4 – 6 high quality, carefully selected goodies, including, but not limited to, toys, treats, specialty items such as skin products, essentials, and of course, food selections.

The Box

BFF FunPacks ships via USPS Priority Mail and comes in  a cute box with dogs and paw print stamps.  L knew right away it was for the dogs.  He likes to try and guess who each box is for and this makes it easy.

First Look

Hmm, this isn’t the most exciting first look ever.  I should have taken a second look picture!  The box was jam packed and heavy and the furries were trying to get their faces in the box when I was getting pictures of the items!

The Information Card(s)

Bunny’s Furr and Feather FunPacks (say that 10 times quick) comes with a flyer about the service and a few information sheets about the products in the box.  There were some  items that were in the box that weren’t on the information card, so I will separate the two.  Here is what was on the card:

~The Honest Kitchen Love and Force Dehydrated Dog Food ($7):  This is a dehydrated food that you mix with water and serve.  It’s made in a human food facility from 100% human grade ingredients. I mixed some up for the boys and umm, it’s looked so gross (I wouldn’t even post a picture because it looked so unattractive).  So gross.  But they wolfed it down and then stared at me like where’s the rest?

~Halloween Truffles (~$6): I can’t find a price for these so I am going with $6 or $1/each.  It’s been an amazing week for the furries.  Special treats, new toys.  Needless to say they loves these, although I’m not sure they believed they were for them right now.  It was almost too good to be true.

~Mod Dog Water Wallet ($12):  Oh my goodness, I did NOT get this at first.  I was like why do my dogs need a waterproof wallet?  HA!  It’s actually a water bowl that folds up into a wallet.  That explains a lot.  I am throwing this in the car for road trips.

~Shamrock Packable Rain Poncho ($12): I tried this on Buddy and Baxter was so jealous. Baxter loves wearing clothes of all sorts so the next time it rains this is all his.  There have been times that he hasn’t wanted to go outside in the rain, so this may help.  There are sometimes when it’s SO cold or so rainy that he’d rather stay inside and hold it then go outside in the weather.

~NutriSource Soft & Tender Chicken Dog Treats ($6.77): The boys haven’t gotten a chance to try these yet, but they are soft little treats which my dogs prefer.

These items were also in the box, but were not on the list:

~A-Plus Rope Toy (~$5):  What kind of animal do we think this is?  A monkey?  I bear?  I’m not totally sure.  I am saving this for Christmas for the dogs but I know it’s a toy they will enjoy because they have a few like it.

A-Plus Rope Toy

~Gorilla Glow Ball ($3.49): This is going to end up being an kids toy I already know it.  Anything that glows in the dark is an L item and this is totally an L item.

~Halloween Bandanas: While I didn’t let Baxter try on the rain poncho I did give him a banana to wear which he is still wearing now.  Buddy would try to take it off, but Baxter prances around in it and will be sad when he eventually has to take it off.  I kid you to if I have a dog sweater or something and he sees it, his tail starts tagging right away and he jumps like crazy until he gets to wear it.

I came up with a total of $43.77 for the listed items in the October BFF FunPack and $52.26 for the entire box contents!  Quite a nice value since boxes start at $24/month.
