October Petit Vour
October Petit Vour

Petit Vour, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box of cruelty-free beauty products, hand-picked from businesses that align quality with progressive standards.  They always come up with interesting goodies from brands I have never heard of and I love opening up their boxes and discovering it all!

The Box

Petit Vour ships via USPS and changed up their boxes this month.  They are usually a grey’ish color, but went pink this month!  I’m assuming it’s for Breast Cancer Awareness, but the card doesn’t say anything about it.

First Look

Once agan I didn’t recognize anything in the box and that always has me excited.  I love discovering new products, vegan or not, and this box always delivers (well it delivers the vegan ones anyway).

The Information Card

The October Petit Vour box is all about the “Core Four”.  In your box you will find “a little something for everything”. Here are the details:

~The Elixery Lipstick ($18):  This lipstick is formulated and compounded from scratch from only the finest raw materials.  And ohh my, this is a fabulous color!  It’s supposed to go on super sheer and make it “Your Lips, But Better” (YLBB).  I can’t decide if I should swipe it right now or save it for my SIL, who I know would love it and use it till the last bit.  Decisions!

The Elixery Lipstick

~Ally’s AromaRemedies Signature Massage Oil (Hula Hula) ($14): This is supposed to help with tons of things, including “waist and abdomen slimming, shaping and circulation”. Really?  I tried some and didn’t notice anything right away, but I read on the website that you need to apply at night before bed and you’ll see some results in the morning.  Next time for sure.

Ally’s AromaRemedies Signature Massage Oil

~Root Science Pure Balance ($14.75): This smells like no moisturizer I have ever tried before.  It doesn’t have any harsh chemicals, toxins and synthetic preservatives and comes with a little dropper to you don’t end up wasting a ton. It reminds me of of the smell of sunflower seeds.  Made my skin super soft though, so I can deal.

Root Science Pure Balance

~Tallulah Jane Aiyana Natural Eau De Parfum ($1.59): This perfume has notes of vanilla and rock rose balanced with pure moroccan rose.  I thought it was going to be fabulous but I just don’t think this is the scent for me.  It’s not horrible, but its much stronger than I was expecting.  Much stronger!

All totaled, the October Petit Vour box had a value of $48.34, which is a great value considering that the box itself is only $15/month. I feel like it’s probably one of the best ways their is out there to sample and find vegan beauty goodies!  They also offer a rewards program and a referral program and offer discounts on some of the products in the box each month.
