The Bride Box, who sent me this box to arrive, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides! It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.
The Bride Box ships via USPS Priority Mail from Florida and took the stated two days to arrive. I’m not sure if you can tell my the picture, but it comes in a shoe box sized box. Just a little reference for size.
I knew right away this box was going to be a good one. Any box that includes a cookie gets a good first impression from me!
The Bride Box has stopped including the monthly information card in their boxes and has decided to offer the information via e-mail and on their blog so that they can save some trees and include more DIY projects and tutorials. I don’t see the content up on their blog yet, but hopefully it’s up soon! For now, you can check out my thoughts below.
~You’re That Girl Designs Wedding Koozie ($11.50 per The Bride Box): Yeah, I kind of love this. I am picturing an outdoor wedding, maybe a destination wedding with these in favor bags left in the welcome gift bag for your guests? Customized to your wedding of course!
~From The Heart Graphics Thank You Cards ($5): These notecards are great quality and would be great customized or like this. Hopefully someone I know gets engaged soon so I can pass these cute cards along.
~I-Do Cookie from Cookies By Amanda ($2): B and I decided that it would only be right if we tried this cookie last night. I mean how could I really review it if I hadn’t tried it? This cookie is excellent and I was impressed by how well it held up in the box. I would have expected a broken mess, but it arrived in good condition and was perfectly fresh.
~PhotoBooth Props ($10.50): I have never been to a wedding with a PhotoBooth or fun props like this, but I hope it happens soon. Although I suspect we could have gotten in some trouble with photobooths at friend’s weddings! Also, I was thinking the other day about how I glad I am that Facebook and Instagram weren’t around when I was younger and going out all the time. That would have been BAD news. Very bad news.
~Chalkboard Banner Kit ($18): Ohhh, these are great. It’s a chalkboard banner and could work for your wedding and long after! I am going to try and do something fun with it for the holidays and hopefully the results will fabulous and I’ll be able to hang it up in the house.
All totaled I came up with a value of about $47 for the October The Bride Box (which is well over the $35/month cost of the box)! Once again I had to estimate a few of the prices of items in the box, so I am likely understating the value!
What do you think of The Bridal Box? Interested in subscribing or just want to learn more? Click here. I should also mention that The Bride Box has just launched a referral program. If you have one friend subscribe, you get $5 off your box, two friends gets you $10 off and 3 friends gets you a free box! And everyone can subscribe using code “REFERFRIENDS” to save $5 off your box.
