Umba Box, who kindly provided this box for review, is a monthly subscription service that offers subscribers 2-3 of the freshest handmade goods from a wide variety of categories including home goods, women’s accessories, jewelry, stationery, and bath products.
Umba Box ships via USPS and was one of a few little boxes that appeared in my mailbox today. My mail lady got off the hook with boxes today, but tomorrow is going to be another story ;).
Ohhh, the first look had me quite interested. I was so excited to see what was in this month’s box that I did my unboxing before I unpacked L’s backpack. I usually make sure that’s all set before I go through my mail. Not today!
Umba Box has individual information cards instead of just one big one. They do include a card with some social media information on it in case you want to share your unboxing. This month’s box included the following:
~Sweetnature Designs Cotton Drawstring Bag ($11): Sweetnature Designs items are hand drawn, hand printed and hand sewn, meaning that no two items will be exactly alike. Suggestions for this bag include carrying product, storing your hair dryer in it, use it as a gift bag or even a lunch bag. I haven’t figured out what I am going to do with it yet, but it’s so cute that I don’t wan to just store it away. *Maybe* I will use it to corral some of WB’s toys in the car??
~Noon Designs Pumpkin Spice Whipped Sugar Soap ($18): You know how every so often something super amazing that you have never seen before appears and you are in love? Well that’s exactly what happened here. This soap not only smells delicious, but also makes your skin super soft. It’s light and fluffy and has just the slightest bit of sugar in it so you get that scrubby feel. I have bookmarked this site and will be stalking it like crazy to see what holiday scents they do!!!
All totaled I came up with a value of $29 for the September Umba Box. Boxes are $25/month ($23/month if you opt for an annual prepaid subscription) and they also have a Limited Edition Subscription right now which gets you 3 months of higher-end products for $149 total. While this month wasn’t as valuable as last month, I loved it even more! Seriously people this scrub. TDF.
