As usual, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight. I’ve “known” Jen for umm, 10 years (and yet we’ve never met), and she knows I do it, so it’s not exactly stealing. But then again, it’s not a link up either ;).
~In all my Breaking Bad excitement, I had forgotten that last Sunday night was the season premier of Homeland! That is another fabulous show! B and I watched the episode earlier in the week and it was amazing. I have NO idea who to believe in that show, but I love every second of it.
~OMG so I got a e-mail from the GAP earlier today that had a coupon code for 35% the entire store. I had been in earlier in the week and sale items were an additional 40% off, so I was hoping I could stack the coupons. I dragged everyone to the mall for lunch and snuck into GAP on the way out. Sale was only an additional 30% off, but they let me stack the codes and I score all this for $32!!! The floral thing is supposed to be a girls top, but I thought it might make a cute toddler dress! Hopefully whoever I gift it to thinks the same! It was only $3.50, so I couldn’t pass it up!
~I am so behind and plan to spend this week doing everything I had put off until after vacation. You know the drill, ohhhh, I’ll just do that after vacation. So this week is going to consist of getting back to sorting through the boys clothes, sending in more stuff to thredUP (they need to just keep the bags coming because I have so much crap to send in) and going to the Post Office to send out the last of the Phillip Lim for Target bags I picked up for people. And I have a pile of paperwork for L’s school to sort through. Ohh, and I might finally take the plunge this week and buy a macBook Air ! We’ll see about that last one though!
~Much to L’s delight, we FINALLY got some fall / Halloween decorations out. I kid you not, he asks me about it on a daily basis. I didn’t put a ton up, but L’s happy, so that’s all that matters!
How is your weekend going? Any Sunday night plans?
We are going to work on the decorations when we get back from the mountains. N will be so excited and he wants to help. I’m sure M will love all the help he gives 😉
Well, Saturday I decorated my front porch. Today we carved the pumpkins and baked some cupcakes and cookies that my daughter an I decorated with Fall colors. So, it was a pretty good weekend in my neighborhood 🙂
P might be able to get a discount on that laptop…..
I love the Halloween decor! I’ve had mine up for weeks now because I’m a crazy person, haha. I love your entry wall. I hope one day we can get a newer house with a pretty entry like that!
I love your decorations! They are festive but not cheesy. I’m looking forward to a relaxing night. Did my first hot yoga class today and I am exhausted.
I am planning on starting Homeland this week! I can’t wait.
I love your front porch, you always have the best wreaths too! I’m working on a new one for Christmas at the moment!

Five Minute Style
Greetings from NC! I stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago in my quest to decide upon a beauty box subscription, and have been hooked ever since. I bet it continuously feels like Christmas around your house, haha and I love it. The reason I turned from an observer to a commenter is mainly to comment on your taste in television shows. It appears to be rather concise with mine, did you also enjoy House?? I also wanted to comment on your sweet boys, they are absolutely precious and I, for one, appreciate that you integrate your life into your blog as well, WB’s and L’s happiness extend much further than the computer screen. Just know with as loving as they are with one another, and how happy they seem means that you and B are doing something right with them! And it does not go unnoticed! The only thing I suggest though, is that you tweak and add on to your section about you and your family. I’m sure you just wrote before WB was born, considering he is so young, but that little guy needs a place in there too!
I hope I didn’t make my transition from viewer to commenter too forward. I apologize if I did, subtlety is not my strong suit!
With well wishes,
Liv
I was so excited when I walked into gap the other day and saw 40% off clearance and combining it with the 30% off for card holders. Does that ever happen?? I probably got my daughter everything in the store and kept looking back as I was leaving to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Oh and in true crazy fashion I went to both of our gap locations 🙂
Love your decorations!
I never used coupon for GAP until I started reading your blog. You have saved me so much money. Only problem now is I can’t stop shopping because they keep having amazing sales! Plus you rock at always commenting and writing people back! Most big bloggers never write back!
