It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Troubles. I’ve said it before, but this should be named “things i’m annoyed / confused / want to complain about”, however I couldn’t figure out how to make any of those into a snappy title, so Tuesday Troubles it is. And yes, I do realize that these aren’t true “troubles”. I know that many of these for sure could be defined as first world problems!
~Okay, so the other day I go outside with WB to get in the car to pick L up from school. And there is this dude sitting in his car directly in front of my house. Just sitting there. Super creepy, but technically he’s not really doing anything wrong so I went ahead and picked L up from school and hoped he’d be gone when I got home. But no. Well he was gone but his car wasn’t. Still parked directly in front of my house. Only he wasn’t in it. Super. I figure he’s liking robbing my house or something. So I lock the kids in the car and open the door to the house. Not there. But where the heck is he?? And then all of a sudden poof, he’s standing at the door of his car. I asked him if there was something I could help him with and he got all weird and said he was from Comcast, blah, blah, blah. And then basically jumped in his car and took off. My neighbor who was watching all this was like yeah, he’s not from Comcast. Luckily he hasn’t been back either. Umm, buddy, we are on it over here. Don’t be creeping in my neighborhood!
~What does everyone use to hang up their scarves? I have no system and it’s a mess. Putting them on regular hanger is not working. At all. I know IKEA has something that would work, but I was wondering is there is something else? Maybe from somewhere closer than an hour away?
~B was gone all weekend doing National Guard stuff (he left Friday morning and came back Sunday night) and ended up with a pile of dirty smelly Army laundry. Before he went to bed I suggest that he throw the clothes from the washer into the dryer. But what would he do with the things that were already in the dryer he asked? Umm, fold them? He looked at me like I had two heads. He is lucky is so good looking, but he did end up folding them and leaving them on the floor in our room. He showed me ;).
~I asked this in my newsletter this week, so it’s troubling me no longer, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who explain to me how to “rent” a book for my iPad. Technology, while at times annoying, is an amazing thing.
~And finally, can someone explain to me what’s up with all these giraffe pictures on Facebook? I am afraid to ask on Facebook for fear that I too will need to change my picture to giraffe so hopefully someone here can clue me in!
