MyIrelandBox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a subscription box straight from Ireland to your doorstep! The box includes 1 large or 2-4 Irish made/designed home goods, accessories, jewellery, stationary or beauty products.
MyIrelandBox ships from Ireland and seems to take about a week. Pretty darn good considering that it takes some of the other boxes that I get from here in the states that long to get here.
I had no idea what was going to be in this box. I have gotten a wide assortment of items over the months so you really never know. But the first look had me loving what I saw.
The November MyIrelandBox doesn’t have a theme, however, the theme of the December box is “Festive”, which I am super excited about! MyIrelandBox also does a Mini box for about half the price as a regular subscription and a Limited Edition Baby Box which includes the most adorable handmade sheep I have ever seem! Here is what the November box included:
~Shannonbridge Pottery Mug ($10.16): Is this gorgeous or what? The mug was hang painted and is even prettier in person. I love having an assortment of mugs around the house (never a full set of matching mugs), so this is totally perfect for me.
~Little Buttons and Bows Mug Warmer ($8): I kid you not, I have been eying these knit mug warmers. They sell a mug at Target that already has the warmer on it, but this is way way way better. The aran knit warmer is super soft and the wood button is made by Anne’s husband!
~Appletree Press “Irish Myths and Legends” ($18.32): This isn’t actually a book about the legends and myths, but rather a guide to some of the characters and places and objects discussed in those stories. It’s a cute little guide and now I feel like I need to read some of these legends!
~The Foods of Athenry Belgian Chocolate Biscuit Cake (~$5): I’m not exactly sure what is this in cake other than chocolate, syrup, biscuit and butter, but it’s to die for. Seriously. I wasn’t expecting it to be so amazing. It’s a little crunchy with an amazing chocolate taste. OMG so good! SO GOOD.
All totaled I came up with a value of $41.48 for the November MyIrelandBox. Now I didn’t include shipping from the UK and I had to estimate a few of the prices, so I am guessing that had all that been included, it would have been well over the $49/month cost of the box (that’s with the current exchange rate)! I think this was my favorite MyIrelandBox yet! It’s snowing here in MI today and I am thinking this afternoon will be the perfect time to snuggle on the couch with a cup of cocoa and my mug warmer and of course, the rest of my biscuit cake!

My finance’s parents just went to Ireland… they both have Irish heritage. This is totally something I could see getting them for Christmas!
They would probably love it!
This makes me wish I were Irish to justify subscribing!
You don’t have to Irish to enjoy it!
I LOVE the shamrock mug. I need to order one for myself.
It’s even prettier in person!
Ironically, I just booked a flight to ireland! Maybe you’ll need to lend me that book!
Only if you bring me home some of those biscuits!
Hi Jennifer
Thanks for your wonderful review and lovely photos of the November MyIrelandBox surprises.
We’re delighted that you liked everything. The mug has been a hit! When we curated this we thought of the cold winter months and wanted our subscribers and one time purchasers to snuggle up on the couch with their MyIrelandBox Irish made finds and relax! We’re glad that you did just that.
Warmest wishes from the Emerald Isle
