Note: As of April 2014, Stork Stack has merged with bluum.
One of the many packages I received today was my November Stork Stack! I was excited to see it and even more excited that my mailman arrived during nap time. It gives me a chance to take box pictures before it starts getting dark out.
Stork Stack ships via USPS (through some other handling service), but USPS delivers it. The Stork Stack box is bigger than a bread box, but smaller than my mailbox. I did a “box stack” last year where I compared all of the box sizes and I am going to save this months’ boxes and do it again.
Stork Stack now sends their information cards in the shipping e-mails and you can opt to click to them to be “spoiled” or you can go spoiler free if you want. You know I clicked and got “spoiled”, but I there’s nothing like seeing it in person.
The November Stork Stack theme was “Lunch Box” and is made up of “Sugar and Spice” and everything nice. Stork Stack is sharing some food for thought this month and is aiming to help you make the most of your family meal time. Here’s what the box included:
~BabyLegs ($6): I actually own this exact pair of baby legs, but one of my oldest friends is having a baby boy in the spring so these will be a perfect gift for her. I didn’t understand what baby legs and mealtime had in common, but the card said that it’s to help keep legs warm when you’ve got them eating in only their diaper so that they won’t ruin their holiday best.
~Spuds: Large Spuds Bowl ($8.95): We received a set of spuds silverware in a previous Stork Stack and I thought they were the coolest thing ever. If you’ve never heard of the brand, all of their products are made from all natural, non GMO, reclaimed potatoes. How cool is that?
~Child’s Play International “Bib on, Bunny” book by Annie Kubler ($7.99): This book could not be any more perfect for us! WB prides himself on making a mess while he eats and like bunny he usually ends up with a clean bib and a messy tray (and floor).
~Stephen Joseph – Classic LunchBox ($15.99): I couldn’t wait to see what print we got and I LOVE this space one. It’s nothing like we have already and it will be good for both WB and L. If L loses his current lunchbox, this is going to be his new one!
~Clandestino Banana Bar ($2): I always expect these (I’ve gotten them before) to taste like a frozen banana with a chocolate coating, but of course they are not. It’s a chewy bar. Imagine like a dense chocolate banana. It’s very good. I ate mine while writing this ;).
All totaled I came up with a value of $40.93 for the November Stork Stack! I thought this was another great box (last month was fabulous as well) and am hoping that December keeps with the trend! Stork Stack is $27.99/month, however, you can save $10 off your first month with the code “C0BD0EB1“, making you first month only $17.99. Or if you are interested in a longer subscription, you can use the codes: “Fall6” to save $20 on a 6-month subscription or “Fall12″ to save $50 on a 12-month subscription.
Did you get Stork Stack this month? What’d you think? What was in your Stack and what age is your little one? And if you don’t subscribe and are interested in signing up or just want to learn more, click here!
I saw this list and thought you might be able to get some ideas for L’s lunch or the boys snack time. http://www.buzzfeed.com/rachelysanders/easy-adorable-animal-snacks-to-make-with-kids . They seem like fun to make.
Thank you!!!
My Clandestino Banana Chocolate Bar expired 7/13. Did anyone else have this issue?
I heard some people mention that. I ate mine before I even had a chance to look. It tasted fine.
I realized the code in this post is a refferal code. How do I make sure you get credit? Do I just give them your first name?
Nope, all you need to do is enter the code and it will get counted! It’s a unique code. Thank you!
hi!
i ordered a stork stack for one month- just to try it, its just the general stack for a baby i guess, my question is (similar to my last question about another box) – you have a “toy chest” and a “lunch box” stack that you received, do you have to order those specific- or were they just the stack that was sent out to everyone in those months (with your childs age appropriate things inside)? I’m really excited about it- and i love the lunch box stack!
Those are just the different monthly themes. I am not sure what the April theme is, but it will be different from these.
