Edited to Add: Binkabox no longer offers a subscription service.
Binkabox, who kindly sent me this box to review, sends a gift basket of unique, hand-picked products for babies and toddlers your door on a monthly basis. Subscriptions range from $12/month – $32/month and are customized to your child’s age (newborn to age 5). The box I received was the Premium Box ($32/month) and is one of their 3-5 year old boxes.
Binkabox ships via USPS and boxes arrive between the 17th and 22nd every month. Mine arrives yesterday (12/23),so it wash fairly close. I actually don’t really know where it came from because the mail came and left and then a few hours later this appeared on my porch all alone.
I loved last month’s Binkabox, so I was really excited to check the December box out. And the first look had me totally intrigued.
Binkabox includes information cards for each of the products included. Cards don’t give brand names, but they give details on what each of the items are and how they are to be used. The December Binkabox didn’t have a stated theme, however, it appear to have a Christmas theme to me. Here is what was included:
~Learn To Tie Your Shoe ($5.60): This is awesome! I am putting this in L’s stocking. He wears tie shoes so infrequently that he doesn’t really “need” to know, but I think it’s time. There is this one kid in L’s class that always wears tie shoes. And I swear I have tied them for him a dozen times this year waiting for the bell to ring to go inside. Which is pretty much why I never get L tie shoes because I know it’d be the same. Hopefully this fixes that.
~Wooden Christmas Tree Puzzle ($19.99): How gorgeous is this? I don’t have it in this picture, but there is a bottom to this picture that allows it to stand up. This is something that we will have forever and something I can see my grandkids playing with. I love it!
~Activity Cube ($~10): I cannot find this anywhere online, but it’s a cube that you roll that has various activities on them to do. All designed to get you and your kids up and moving around.
~Santa’s Magic Key: ($4.80): I can only find the pattern for this online (which is $5), but not the completed key. L is a little too old to believe that Santa could actually get in a door with this, but I am going to use it as a Christmas ornament.
~Reindeer Food (~$1): Whoever thought of this idea is a genius. L did this year last and thought it was so amazing. I really go think it helped Santa and his reindeer find us better too.
~Shoe Stickers (~$5): I didn’t find these in my box, but since it was a review box I didn’t contact them. These stickers are genius. L has been know to put his shoes on the wrong feet. I am even guilty of doing this with L and WB. We could all use these stickers and am plan on ordering / making these.
I came up with an estimated value of $46.39 for the December Binkabox. This was another great month and I love love love seeing what they do with their boxes. I received the “Premium” Box, which starts at $32/month (it’s $35/month for a monthly recurring subscription or $32/month if you purchase a 6-month subscription), so the value is clearly there as well!

Loving the Learn to Tie Your Shoe activity. For some reason, when I click on your link for it, I get a page not found error. I would love to know where to buy this if you found it online. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
