Nibblr, who kindly sent me this box to review, delivers a box of four portion-controlled, delicious snacks to your office or home on the schedule you choose. Box are $5.99 and you can opt for deliveries weekly, every other week or monthly.
Nibblr ships via USPS and takes 3-9 days to arrive. I believe mine took 5 days, which was right in line with that. Plus, we missed a day of mail due to Christmas, so it was really more like 4 days. Not bad at all.
Nibblr has more than 55 snack options ranging from fruits, to nuts to savory sensations and feel good treats. You have the ability to rate the snacks and Nibblr will avoid sending you snacks you’ve rated “No Thanks” and will send you snacks you rated “Love” more frequently. Since my box was a review box I didn’t go in and rate anything – my box was an assortment. Here is what it included:
~Olive You: This snack mini crisps with pumpkin seeds, fig, and olives. I don’t love this one, but I also don’t love olives. I didn’t mention it, but these snacks are single serving and you can find all the nutritional information / full ingredient list on the back of the pack and also online.
~Caramel Apple: This was probably my favorite snack of the group. It contains caramel, peanuts and apples and has 120 calories per serving. Nibblr does not have the ability to accommodate any food allergies or special dietary restrictions, so that’s totally something you’d need to know if you had say a peanut allergy.
~Sesa-Me & You: Mmmm, these are delicious too! Sesa-Me & You (someone far more creative than I thinks of these names) is almonds dipped in honey and coated in sesame seeds. I would rate these are love for sure.
~Old Worlde Blend: This is a mixture of dyes, figs and red walnuts. I didn’t love this one. Try as a I might, I just don’t think that dried fruits are something I will ever love. Tolerate, yes. But love, that’s pushing it. I should also mention that each packet contains the expiration date, so you will never wonder if your snack is still okay.
What do you think of Nibblr? Something you’d be interested in? I didn’t do a cost breakdown, but figure like $1.50/snack? That’s a bit more than your standard vending machine fare (or is it these days?), but I do think it’s worth it.
