This week has been super crazy and I couldn’t be happier that I ordered Plated. I mean I get it most weeks, but its been a life saver this week.
Last week my Plated arrived on a Wednesday, but this week we were back with our normal Tuesday delivery. You don’t get to pick and I could live with either, but I do prefer the Tuesday deliveries.
I am still loving the new Plated packaging materials and really hope that this sticks around even in the summer months. It’s so much less waste this way. I thought about picking three meals this week, but I ended up just going with the following two:
~Nissan’s Soy Ginger Salmon Burgers with Parsley-Garlic Chips: I can’t say that I have ever had a salmon burger before this, but umm, this entire meal was amazing. B was skeptical about it, but he commented on how amazing it was as well. I would make this again in a second. The chips were delicious too. I pretty much loved everything about this meal and can’t think of anything I didn’t like!
~Sweet Potato-Ricotta Ravioli with Brown Sage Butter: When the box came and I looked at the picture, I was like did I really pick this? But yeah, I did. I was kind of meh when B was making it, but it turned out to be much better than expected. It took a while to make though – more than the 30-40 minute prep time that’s for sure. Would I make it again? Maybe. With a little more “something” for flavor. Not sure what. Just something else.
Did you get Plated this week? What’d you think? Next week’s menu is limited (they only have 4 meal options instead of the usual like 8), but I am tossing around the idea of placing an order because we aren’t traveling or anything and why not? Oh, and if you order next week with the code “HAPPYHOLIDAYS3” you’ll get 21% off your order – that’s for new OR returning customers!!!
If you are interested in giving it a try or want to learn more, click here to try two free plates (new customers only). Basically you’ll get 4 plates for the price of 2 ($30)!! That’s 4 meals/plates for $30, which is less than $8/plate.
