Stitch Set, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a monthly subscription service which delivers everything you need to complete a fun knitting project to your door every month. This includes the pattern, yarn, needles, and any accessories (buttons, clasps, etc). In addition, you’ll find custom made instructions (with photos) for all techniques needed to complete the project. Stitch Set is design for beginning knitters, but works for knitters of all skill levels.
Stitch Set ships via USPS and appeared on my porch yesterday in my Sunday package delivery (which I loved). It came in a fun special box which I am guessing is a one time thing, but I don’t know? Either way I loved that too.
This month’s Stitch Set project was a Wrist Warmer and included: Knitting Instructions, Pattern, Knitting Needles, Practice Yarn, Pattern Yarn, Scissors, Yarn Needle and Italian Candies.
I have yet to learn how to knit (but I really want to) and I think that this is going to totally help me out. This instructions are super detailed and seem to be made for someone like me who doesn’t really want to watch YouTube videos (I can’t focus on all that). I haven’t gotten a chance to make this yet, but I totally plan to do it in the next week or so (I was excited about this and wanted to get my review up ASAP) and will post a picture of my final product! It’s seriously got step-by-step instructions so I don’t think even I could screw this up too badly!

Man, this sounds awesome. I’d totally subscribe, but since I’ve had the same scarf half-finished for over a year now, I’m not sure it’s the wisest use of $40 for me. Maybe the knitspiration will strike me sometime though. 😉
I haven’t started yet, but do you think it’s fun?
For some reason it’s telling me “ERROR: Can’t find the ‘commentformid’ div” every time I try to reply to your reply.
I’d call knitting more ‘enjoyable’ rather than fun. For me, it’s a thing to do to get my mind off of things and just sort of…autopilot by doing something repetitive for a while. Plus, I get a huge feeling of accomplishment once I actually finish a project. I usually listen to an audiobook or a stand up comedy show or something while I’m knitting.
I can see that!
