Yay! My November Tyler Florence Fancy Box appeared on my porch this morning. Nice and early this morning too I might add. It didn’t actually arrive in November this month, but it was pretty darn close, so I’ll give it a pass.
All Fancy Boxes ship via FedEx Ground and typically take about two days to arrive to me here in MI. Fancy ships from the East Coast – MA to be exact, so it never takes too long to get here.
With all the holiday / illness craziness, I hadn’t even gotten a chance to look for spoilers for this month’s box, so I was totally spoiler free! The first look was a good one though and I couldn’t wait to figure out what everything was!
The Fancy Box celebrity curated boxes used to have information cards with the celebrities pictures on them and notes about why they picked the items. That seems to be a thing of the past though as I have not received any cards like that lately. Maybe next month?
Here is what the November Tyler Florence Fancy Box included:
~Tyler Florence Black Stripe Towels ($25): Love these! Kitchen towels get so grimy and gross and I am so going to be cleaning out our towel drawer and replacing them with these asap! They’d make a cute go with item for a holiday gift too. Nothing wrong at all with going with a practical gift!
~Stainless Steel Measuring Spoon Set ($6): I’m not so sure about these. Doesn’t everyone have measuring spoons? I mean I know everyone has kitchen towels too, but those need to be replaced more frequently. I will probably end up giving these to the kids for their play kitchen!
~Individual Mini Pie Dish ($10): This is another winner for us. B makes pies on a regular basis and he always has some filling and left over crust, so this will be perfect make L his own individual little pie. He will totally love that ;).
~Tyler Florence Turkey Brine ($8): I don’t know that we will use this to cook a full turkey, but B likes experimenting with things like this, so I am certain he will put it to good use.
~Dreamfarm Smood ($25): I couldn’t figure out what this was at first, but it’s for mashing potatoes (the card says for Thanksgiving, but we’re a little late on that) and things along those lines. I feel like this is going to be one of those gadgets that you look at and go I don’t need that and then after you start using it you wonder what you did without it.
All totaled I came up with a value of $74 for the November Tyler Florence Fancy Box. Not my most favorite Tyler Florence Fancy box ever, but very useful items for sure and everything (even the measuring spoons) will be used by someone in the house!
