Elizabeth & Clarke, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a seasonal subscription box which brings designer-quality blouses and tees to your door each season. Shirts are a mix of blouses, tees and work appropriate tops in neutral colors – while, black, off-white and grey.
Elizabeth & Clark ships via USPS Priority Mail and my box arrived in the stated two days. For the Fall collection they shipped using DHL Global Mail, but happily they switched back to Priority Mail.
I hadn’t seen any spoilers for this box yet, so I wasn’t sure what the winter collection included. I lost my information card so I’m not sure what kind of detail it gave (I was a bit too excited about recycling things and didn’t realize it was in there), but I was easily able to go to their site and grab the shirt names. Here is what was included:
~The Davis: The Davis, as described by E&C, is a structured peplum blouse made with thick, stretchy (and forgiving!) Ponte de Roma knit. They suggest pairing it with leggings and heels and some statement pieces and while it is not a look I think I personally could pull off, I do think it other people would look amazing in it. The quality of this piece is great and it’s much “heavier” than I can show in a picture.
~The Warren: The Warren is described as a perfect transitional blouse from work to drinks, but it’s just not me. At all. I can see others looking fabulous in The Davis, but I just don’t know about The Warren. It might be the shoulder pads. I can’t get past them. Or figure out how to get them out without destroying the lining.
~The Paige: The Paige is a is a draped, asymmetical blouse with an attached scarf and it’s gorgeous. You can wear it wraped around the front, the back, around your neck or thrown over your shoulder. With jeans and heels or boots, it’d be totally hot for a date night!
Since the shirts are Elizabeth & Clarke branded, I cannot go online and do a price comparison for you. But for the price of the shirts ($20/each), it would be hard to find the same quality for less! I should also mention that if you are not 100% happy, return shipping is free. So if you don’t love it, you aren’t stuck with it you know?
