Winter fabfitfun
Winter fabfitfun

fabfitfun, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a quarterly monthly subscription box that includes hand-selected items (the “hottest of the season”) in beauty, fashion, fitness, and wellness from Giuliana and the fabfitfun team. fabfitfun is $49.99/quarter and this box is their fourth ever box.

The Box

fabfitfun ships via UPS Sure Post.  My box was a review box so it shipped differently, but I also have a box I purchased coming and I believe it will have taken about a week total (shipping via SurePost) once it does arrive.  fabfitfun had some kinks with their first few boxes – shipping delays, missing items, etc., but this box went off without a hitch!

First Look

I had peeked at some spoilers on-line and I’m not going to lie.  I wasn’t super duper excited about it.  But I tried to refrain from getting any super strong opinions on it until it actually arrived.

The Information Card

I think the Winter box had an information card which was even larger than the one in the Fall box which I loved.  The big font was a welcome relief to some of the little information cards I see where I can barely read the words.  The Winter fabfitfun box doesn’t have a theme, but it includes the following fabulous picks for this winter:

~The Giving Keys Never Ending Necklace ($55): I love the idea behind this necklace (you wear and embrace the message on it until you find someone else you needs it more and then you pass it along to someone who needs it more than you), but I wasn’t sure if it were something I’d wear.  However, I have the perfect person to give this to so I am now more excited about this than ever!  I think she’s going to love it!

The Giving Keys Never Ending Necklace

~Beauty for Real Lip Gloss ($22): Not only does this have a mirror on it, but it has a light on it too.  I am a sucker for a fun package and this totally fits the bill.  And it’s a plumping lip gloss, which I always like to try.

Beauty for Real Lip Gloss

~Lorna Jane Bracelet ($29.99): I am not familiar with these brand or movement, but card says that the bracelet is a symbol of sisterhood and a daily reminder to “Move, Nourish, and Believe”. It’s really bright, but I don’t wear dressy clothes or anything that this would look crazy with, so I am game.

~Bioxodea Miracle 24 ($9.83):  I have never heard of Bioxidea, but it’s supposed to reduce signs of premature aging.  And I could use all the help I get in that department!

Bioxodea Miracle 24

~TruEnergy Inspired Earbuds ($39.99): Considering that I have zero idea where any of my earbuds are, these are great!  Where do those things go anyway?  Earbuds, socks and hair ties all probably hang out together in some super secret place in my house.

~Physique 57 Classes ($25): I can’t really get into online workout classes, but if it’s your thing, this is probably pretty cool.  This card is good for five classes and if I could get B to make this work on the tv and not on the computer, I might be more into it.  Maybe.

Physique 57 Classes

~Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Cream ($45):  Ohhh, I love this.  It helps reduce wrinkles, dark skin and puffiness which are three things I hate. I have only used it twice so far, but it certainly felt nice going on.

~MeUndies Gift Card ($20): I love MeUndies!  They have awesome stuff and I am using this later this afternoon to score some new undies and maybe even a hoodie.  If you’ve never tried them, you totally should.  They have great stuff and even have a subscription service.

MeUndies Gift Card

~Simple Foaming Facial Cleanser ($7.49): I am way too excited about this.  I t’s like the least expensive thing in the box and I know it’s what will get used up first.

Simple Foaming Facial Cleanser

~NYX Eye Shadow Palette ($8): I love the colors on this, but I don’t need another shadow palette, so this will end up in the gift or trade pile.  I did get some fabulous colors though, which are totally what I would have picked for myself.

All totaled I came up with a value of $257.30 for the Winter fabfitfun Box!  The box itself is $49.99/quarter, so obviously it’s an incredible value! I liked this box way more than I expected I would and I love that they have all the kinks worked out on this now!  When they said they were shipped before Christmas, I almost didn’t believe it.  But here it is!!

Did you order the Winter fabfitfun box?  What’d you think?  Which key did you get?? If you are interested in ordering or just want to learn more, click here!  I *think* they are sold out of this box (I can’t quite tell from the site), but you can use the code “EARLY5” to save $5 on a Spring box, which would be shipping mid-March.

Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received. This post does however, contain affiliate links.  And what will I be doing with my 2nd fabfitfun box you ask?  I’m going to give it away in a Christmas Day giveaway for newsletter subscribers only, so check your e-mails.  If you don’t subscribe and want a chance to win, click here to get signed up.
