Yesterday was a crazy (in a fun way) Wantable day around here and not only did I received my Wantable box, I also received my February 2014 Wantable Intimates box! Wantable kindly sent me this box to review and I couldn’t be happier about that ;).
If you aren’t familiar,Wantable Intimates sends you 4 to 5 premium essentials, handpicked to perfectly match your preferences on a monthly basis. And just like their makeup and jewelry boxes, you can easily opt to “Skip” a monthly delivery. I had shied away from the Intimates box in the past because I totally thought this was going to be like a lingerie of the month club. Not even. I am glad I finally went for it a few months ago.
Wantable ships via USPS First Class Mail and takes about two days to get to me. I am happy it arrives quickly because I am always so curious to see what they will send me.
I don’t quite know what happened to this box but it looked like a machine took a giant bite out of it! I am certain Wantable didn’t send it out like this, but the sticker on the top says received “unsealed”, which is silly since the lid was totally sealed on. Everything in the box was perfect though, so I didn’t care.
I had mixed feelings about the first look. But I knew I wanted to dig in and see more!
I mention it every time, but you can total customize your Wantable box. You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike. Unlike the Makeup box, I actually put some “Likes” in this one (in that one I just do Loves and Dislikes)! You’ll get more of the things you love and none of the things you Dislike. It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.
The February 2014 Wantable Intimates box includes “plenty of flirty intimates” which are perfect for both lazy days and spring flings alike. Here is what I received:
~St. Eve Seamless Boyshort Pink Stripe ($9): Love these!! Jenny over at Love My Randomness got these last month and I was secretly jealous of them. Not anymore!!! Super cute, but also super comfy and perfect for everyday where!
~Kiby’s Mandy Slip ($44): I cannot find this anywhere online, but it’s very cute and while not normally what I’d wear to sleep, maybe it will be for the summer? It’s certainly too cold in my house for this right now!
~Rhonda Shear Sweet Cupcake Lace Trim Panty – Smoke ($18.90): Totally fancy, but still comfortable at the same time. That’s a win for me! Is these weren’t nearly $20/pair, I’d probably even buy more.
~MUK LUKS Trish Boot Sock ($15): Totally love. My favorite item in the box for sure. It may be -20 degrees out, but at least my socks will be cute. Why didn’t I know about MUK LUKS before Wantable? They have so much cute wintery stuff!
All totaled I came up with a value of $86.90 for my February 2014 Wantable Intimates Box which is far beyond the $36/month price tag on this one. I think the Intimates box is quickly becoming one of my favorite boxes!
Do you subscribe to Wantable? If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? Click here to subscribe or learn more.
I got the boyshorts last month as well but I so want that slip and boot socks. Score!
Fingers crossed for this month!
I think this is one of my favorite boxes that you get. I never know what to expect from it.
Totally right you never do know!
So funny story. I finally got around to washing the boyshorts last weekend and my sister saw them and took them with her. I guess that is what happens when you have a college student visiting. LOL I’d love those boot socks this month. I can’t wait until mine ships next week. Its crazy cold here right now but normally if I just throw some knee socks on in the winter I’m good to go. Now to find a subscription for new boots and I’d be good. The pair of rubber boots I wear in the snow are from my college years and we all know that was a long time ago. So needless to say pretty sure the glue is dry rotted in them and they are not as water proof as I once thought. 🙁
Do the boys have winter stuff? I never really thought about what you all did when it does snow to go play outside!
We have gloves but they are more the knit kind and they wear rain boots and heavish coats. Luckily this year they actually have snow pants but most years just jeans with somekind of of jogsuit pants over them. We do have sleds we keep in the garage that last forever since they only come out once a year. We actually have more then most people do around here. They are all complaining they can’t find sleds or gloves or anything but here most places get one shipment so you have to buy early and then just hoard them. You can not wait until the bad weather is already here. Stores are already getting spring stuff out now.
THat makes sense! People here run to buy shovels and sleds when it snows (no idea what happened to their stuff from last week), but I can’t imagine what happens in the south!
I had to email wantable yesterday cause my box was ready on the 24th but still hadn’t shipped. They apologized for the delay and shipped it yesterday as well as giving me a $5 credit to their store which I think just means I’ll get that money off the price of my next box. Can’t wait to get mine and see what awesome stuff they sent!
That’s almost touter! I hope it gets to you fast!!!!
Those boy shorts are the cutest!!! I love the pattern. I’ve had the Wantable website open in a browser tab for several days now.. Just have to find the right moment to pitch it to my husband…
Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!! Work it in a Valentine’s Day conversation. Like, you know, I am going to get a box of “intimates” in the mail. And then just act surprised when it’s comfy socks and cute pjs shorts and not sexy items.
Hahaha genius!!! That’s the best idea ever. My V-day gift to him, really, because who can resist pajamas and chunky house socks?
No one can!
I tried the intimates box once when it first launched but I resubscribed after seeing your review for February! I’ve been getting their beauty box since August but never tried their accessory box. You may look for an email for them requesting you do a survey? I got one and at the end it asked if I had to pick would I prefer a fitness or hair care box for their next release and then you choose options that interest you. I’m excited to see what their next box is!
I heard about that survey, but I haven’t seen it. I want to though. LOL! What do you think? I am kind of leaning towards hair since there isn’t really a hair one??
I voted for the hair box myself. I just can’t see a really good fitness box at only $36 a month. That and I would personally love to try new hair productss!
Wait, maybe it’s workout clothes and fitness products? That could be fun!
I would love a skincare box from them!
