Yesterday was a crazy (in a fun way) Wantable day around here and not only did I received my Wantable box, I also received my February 2014 Wantable Intimates box! Wantable kindly sent me this box to review and I couldn’t be happier about that ;).
If you aren’t familiar,Wantable Intimates sends you 4 to 5 premium essentials, handpicked to perfectly match your preferences on a monthly basis. And just like their makeup and jewelry boxes, you can easily opt to “Skip” a monthly delivery. I had shied away from the Intimates box in the past because I totally thought this was going to be like a lingerie of the month club. Not even. I am glad I finally went for it a few months ago.
Wantable ships via USPS First Class Mail and takes about two days to get to me. I am happy it arrives quickly because I am always so curious to see what they will send me.
I don’t quite know what happened to this box but it looked like a machine took a giant bite out of it! I am certain Wantable didn’t send it out like this, but the sticker on the top says received “unsealed”, which is silly since the lid was totally sealed on. Everything in the box was perfect though, so I didn’t care.
I had mixed feelings about the first look. But I knew I wanted to dig in and see more!
I mention it every time, but you can total customize your Wantable box. You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike. Unlike the Makeup box, I actually put some “Likes” in this one (in that one I just do Loves and Dislikes)! You’ll get more of the things you love and none of the things you Dislike. It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.
The February 2014 Wantable Intimates box includes “plenty of flirty intimates” which are perfect for both lazy days and spring flings alike. Here is what I received:
~St. Eve Seamless Boyshort Pink Stripe ($9): Love these!! Jenny over at Love My Randomness got these last month and I was secretly jealous of them. Not anymore!!! Super cute, but also super comfy and perfect for everyday where!
~Kiby’s Mandy Slip ($44): I cannot find this anywhere online, but it’s very cute and while not normally what I’d wear to sleep, maybe it will be for the summer? It’s certainly too cold in my house for this right now!
~Rhonda Shear Sweet Cupcake Lace Trim Panty – Smoke ($18.90): Totally fancy, but still comfortable at the same time. That’s a win for me! Is these weren’t nearly $20/pair, I’d probably even buy more.
~MUK LUKS Trish Boot Sock ($15): Totally love. My favorite item in the box for sure. It may be -20 degrees out, but at least my socks will be cute. Why didn’t I know about MUK LUKS before Wantable? They have so much cute wintery stuff!
All totaled I came up with a value of $86.90 for my February 2014 Wantable Intimates Box which is far beyond the $36/month price tag on this one. I think the Intimates box is quickly becoming one of my favorite boxes!
