One of the boxes that arrived yesterday was my (well B’s) January 2014 Bespoke Post box! This month’s box options were “Sweat” and “Heritage” and they also had a few selections from prior months. By default, we received with “Sweat”.
In case you aren’t familiar with them, Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you’ll get to choose from their limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. Don’t want one that month? Just skip the month (you can opt out during the first 5 days of the month) and you won’t be charged.
Bespoke Post shipped via USPS (using Newgistics) and took about a week to arrive. About standard for Bespoke. Their boxes vary in size depending on what that month includes and they will also use different shipping methods based on the weight of the box.
When I opened the box I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I could not remember if I’d made a selection or not and I couldn’t remember what the box defaulted to.
As I opened the box up more it all came back to me. Things looked good and I guess I was surprised that the box was so small and everything fit in there!
Since we didn’t make a selection this month we received the default “Sweat” box selection. B couldn’t decide if he wanted “Sweat” or last month’s “Aged” box and by not deciding at all, the decision was made for us and we received Sweat! Sweat includes items to help battle the winter blues by sweating your way to beach season! Here is what was inside:
~Blue Claw Co. Duffle Bag: (~$100): This bag was made just for Bespoke Post, but Blue Claw bags are fairly expensive so I think that $100 is a fair estimate. The bag is very sturdy and well made and will work nicely as a back up gym bag / overnight bag / carry-on. I have stolen B’s gym bag a few times for trips so I think having a spare will be nice.
~Jacked Pack Supplements (~$10): The box also contained a selection of supplements from Jacked Pack, which is a monthly supplement subscription service. B is back on the workout train and will use every one of these.
All totaled I came up with a value of around $110 for the January 2014 Bespoke Post – Sweat selection. Probably not our favorite selection ever, but all very useful. And, as always, it’s a great value because Bespoke Post is $45/month. Bespoke is one of B’s favorite boxes and I so wish they did a woman’s box!
What do you think of Bespoke Post? Did you get a box this month? Which one? Interested in subscribing or just want to learn more? Click here. I don’t know of any coupons right now, but I will update you if I hear of any!
that bag is soo nice! $100 is pretty expensive though – but really nice!!
Oh yeah, I wouldn’t pay $100 for it!
I would love a Bespoke Post woman’s box!
Wouldn’t that be fabulous??
I subscribe to Bespoke and saved their boxes to use as Christmas presents for my husband and adult son. They were very pleased with everything that was in them. They do indeed include high quality items in their boxes and I too wish they had a subscription service for women.
Wouldn’t that be amazing??
