The Bride Box, who sent me this box to arrive, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides! It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.
The Bride Box ships via USPS Priority Mail. They are located in Florida and I am in MI and it takes the standard two days to arrive.
The Bride Box doesn’t do monthly themes or information cards anymore, which makes me sad. The information is suppose to be online on their website, but I like to have it right in the box so I can read as I look at the goodies. Oh well! Here is what was inside the January box:
~Wedding Cake Pops ($5): I would love to tell you how delicious these were, but I haven idea. My kids saw these and it was all over. They loved them. The cake pops themselves were gorgeous and I was impressed at how well they traveled.
~Heart Cookie Cutters ($4.50): I am guessing that this is an idea for a wedding shower or wedding favor. I wouldn’t mind getting these at a wedding. I have lots of cookie cutters, but I use them often (sandwiches, cookies, as stencils for the kids, etc.) so more are fine by me.
~Wedding Wish Favor Tags ($3.13): Cute little tags for your favors. They have some personalized ones which I think I like even more.
~Maybe Tonight? Intimacy Kit ($45): How cute is this? I don’t think of it as very bride like, but I do like it! Something to throw in your bag just in case you don’t end up at home that night ;). It’s got stretchy blakc undies, a toothbrush, lip gloss, condoms, sliquid and wipes, all in a super cute case.
All totaled I came up with a value of $57.63 for the January The Bride Box. The Bride Box is $35/month and like I always say, would make a fun gift for anyone you know getting married. If you are interested in subscribing or just want to learn more, click here and use code “REFERFRIENDS” to save $5 off your box.
And if you want to just win a box, you are in luck! The Bride Box had a left over box from December and asked if I’d like to give it away to one of you guys! And of course I said yes because, well, who doesn’t like winning free stuff? All you gotta do if you want to win is enter in Rafflecopter below. And if you want to see what was in the December box, you can click here.
Around one
A few years ago I was attending around 5 weddings a year, but I think everyone is married off now! The only one happening this year is a destination wedding in Las Vegas!
Maybe 3? Not too many yet!
Last year four this year I know of two I’ve been invited to but unless I’m free we don’t attend we send gifts .
None yet! None of my friends have started getting married yet.
About one wedding or less a year these days!
I haven’t been to a wedding in a couple years. They’re so fun though!
Around 5.
I attend one at least a year! But I attended 3 last year! <3
A least 4! Ugh…
I would say 1-2 a year.
None, most of my friends aren’t into getting married really young.
2 weddings a year
Just 3 this past year. In previous years it has been 10 or more, so it was a nice little break!
I never attend more than 2 year, it’s my personal rule. 🙂
We have 2 weddings this year. For awhile it felt like we had 5 or 6 every year.
Btw, I was dying over the maybe tonight intimacy kit. It kind of seems like the wrong box for the random one night stand bag.
at least two a year!
3-4 Wedding/year
All of my friends have just started getting hitched recently. So far I’ve been to two weddings this year and am getting ready to go to many more! 🙂
This year I attended four weddings, helped my friend with her wedding which I wasn’t able to make, But Just got Engaged on Xmas! So Now I get to plan my own wedding 😀 !!!!
I’m a photographer so I attend a LOT of weddings! Best part is that I normally get to join in on all the fun and food!
One or two.
Maybe one or two weddings a year. My life is currently all about attending (and often throwing) baby showers!
I maybe only attend 1/year ….but I just got engaged a week ago ! So, I know I’ll be attending at least one this year !
Zero! Haha, my friends aren’t quite at the marrying age. XD
1 wedding 4 yrs ago, but will be attending my own wedding in May!:)
I think this box was pretty good. I was just thinking of creating my own box for my friend whose wedding I’ll be in this summer. I think it would be a fun surprise for her, but I just need to start looking for some goodies. Ideas?!
Are you thinking stuff for the wedding day, honeymoon, or just in general?
Just in general. Something to get her excited about the Big Day and pamper her a little.
I would do lots of spa stuff! Fun bubble bath, an eye mask, candles and maybe one of those mini bottles of champagne and chocolates!
Love the ideas! Maybe I’ll get some Lush products, too. Thanks!
That would be a great idea!
Usually I have about 4, but there was one year I had 12!
around 4
I generally attend 1-2 a year, but this year I’m getting married, am Maid of Honor in one, and will be attending at least 1 or 2 other weddings. This is the year to get married, I suppose. =)
So far this year only 2 but one I am the MOH so I have my hands full!!!
I don’t attend many weddings but maybe 1 a year
Maybe one wedding this year ? waiting to see!
About 4 every summer.
I’m getting married at the end of the year so I’d love to try this box! I go to usually 1 wedding a year.
Usually 1 or less
Around 2
I haven’t attended a wedding in many, many years. It makes me sad. Oh well!
usually one or less. I do have one coming up this year and would gift this box to the bride to be.
A couple of weddings this year. I can’t wait!!
I would say 1 every 3 years, most of our friends and family are married. Just one younger sister left, this would be at the top of my list for gift giving! Looks like a lot of fun!!!
Only about one now
Each year it seems we have a few …three last year, probably two this year!
I’ve only been to two wedding through my life, but maybe a few more soon.
Not very many!
We are planning our wedding for the fall. We actually just got done writing our guest list about an hour before I read this! Lol. Four years ago I was in three weddings in a three month period of time for all my besties! That was a whirlwind! When I was younger I would have loved all the attention a wedding brings, but now I’m nervous and just want to elope. My man is the one who actually wants the big party! Lol! Do you think the bridal boxes are worth it to subscribe to while counting the months down?! 🙂
I am sure they aren’t necessary, but they are quite fun!! And a fun treat to destress!!!
I have attended only one wedding this year. I was a bridesmaids for my Best friend! It was amazing!
I’m at an age where everyone in my circle of friends is getting married so right now, I’m averaging 3-5 weddings a year! So much fun though!
Not too many! One or two
Last year I only went to one…this year, looks like it will hold a few more.
I attend about 1 wedding a year – not too many 🙂
There were too many when I was in my late 20’s early 30’s. Now I attend 1 probably every other year. My BF got married last year so I was also MOH. I love her and was thrilled to do it but I hope that was my last wedding to be a part of until/if my kids get married.
1 a year sometimes more!
I went to 4 weddings last year!
About 1.

Lately it’s been about 3 or 4 a year. Everyone I know seems to be getting married.
so far this year 3 are on the Calendar! 🙂 I can’t wait
It’s interesting that the boxes you have gotten so far seem to be so nice. I put this review in the November blog before I realized you review it every month. I got to your website by accident. However, here’s my take on this service…
My fianc? bought me a subscription to The Bride Box for Valentines Day and I got my first box yesterday. Thank God he only did a month to month subscription. I was disappointed, to say the least. I was expecting several samples and fun little stuff like you mentioned. What I got was a hanger, a burlap sache/bag, and a small bottle if what looks like self tanner that?s been sitting on a shelf for a few years. The hanger was cute, but definitely not worth the $35 my fianc? spent. Not to mention how bad it made him feel that his gift was a bust. Luckily, the thought was worth way more than the box to me.
I haven’t gotten this months to review yet. I assume it should be here shortly. Now I’m super curious to check it out!
