January 2014 Wantable Intimates

Yeah!  My January 2014 Wantable Intimates box arrived today!  I was hoping the mail would come during nap time, but no such luck.  However, after I picked L up from school and the kids and I made a Starbucks run (to which L asked – “why do we go here everyday”), there it was!

The Box

Wantable ships via USPS First Class Mail.  It took about three days to arrive to me in MI from WI.  I think it was a little delayed this month because of the weather because it usually only takes a day or two at most.

First Look

I was both excited and nervous to open this box up.  I had seen some other January boxes, but was just kind of meh on those.  They looked cute, but just were me.  But this first look made me happy!

Love / Like / Dislike

Just like with the Makeup box, you can select your preferences and tweak them as necessary.  Last month I had somehow checked that I “Dislike” loungewear, which couldn’t be farther from the truth because, umm, I wear it all the time.  And just like with their other boxes, if you aren’t happy you can return them for a full refund!

The Information Card

Wantable sends a printed information card talking about the January box in general and it also includes a listing (with prices) of items in your box.  The information card isn’t overly fancy because everyone’s boxes are customized.  January 2014 Wantable Intimates boxes featured brands such as Betsey Johnson, Steve Madden, ST. EVE, On Gossamer and Ozone.  Here is what I received.

~PACT Navy Bandana Camisole ($12):  The information card lists this as $28, but I found it on sale for $12, so I went with the lesser price.  The not on sale price was $30, so that’s in line with Wantable’s.  Anyway, I love the print on this and wouldn’t mind a pair of pj pants in this print / fabric as well (not to wear together because that might be a bit much).

~Ozone Socks Spotted Skin ($12):  Love!  The crazier the sock the better.  These are fun and soft and totally perfect for lounging around the house.

~Happy Socks Grey / Pink ($14): I received the same style of these socks in last month’s box and loved them.  I love this print even more and probably wouldn’t be sad if they sent me another pair (different print) next month.

~Steve Madden Sleepy Shorts (Maria Pink) ($9.97):  Again, my price is an online Amazon sale price, but I always like to be conservative because if I saw a pair of shorts for $30 (which is the retail price) one place and $9.97 another, well, I know where I would buy them from.  I love these, but will be saving them for the summer because my house (and the weather in general) is freezing!

~Montelle Boyleg Undies (Aqua) ($22):  These are fabulous!  The material is amazing and the style is totally something I would have picked out myself.

All totaled I came up with a total of $69.97 for the January Wantable Intimates Box.  Using retail prices, it’d have a value of $108.  Either way, it was a deal since the box was only $36!  I didn’t think it was possible, but I loved this month even more than I loved last month’s box.
