You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight.
~Umm, why didn’t anyone tell me tonight was going to be the best night of tv ever? The Bachelor Sean & Catherine’s Wedding is on. The Pro Bowl is on (yeah I like that kind of stuff). And the Grammy’s are on. WHAT? Who planned this magical night? What will I watch??
~I happened to be near a Bath & Body Works today and I went in “just to smell” a few things (ha) and had no plans to purchase anything. The saleslady had other ideas for me and offered up a coupon as soon as she heard I didn’t have one. I left with three candles for $25 (the Red Velvet one on clearance isn’t pictures), so it wasn’t too bad. And this new Bakery line smells amazing! I am currently trying to talk myself OUT of buying this hand soap deal posted on Hip2Save. It’s 18 hand soaps and a 3-wick candle for $25.50 (less Ebates cash back). But, it would be dumb not to buy right?????
~Once again it’s freezing here and is only going to get colder as we get into the week. I am betting the kids have school tomorrow, but are off Tuesday and Wednesday. We will see! They have been off 4 or 5 days already this month which is insanity. Why didn’t the polar vortex exist when I was a kid?
~Thank you to everyone for the well wishes for B and his Lasik surgery. He is over the moon thrilled with his results and now wishes (like 99% of people who have had lasik I am guessing) he would have had this sooner. If you are on the fence, seriously go in for a consult. So so so worth it.
~I’ve been hearing fabulous things about the Xyron Sticker Maker
and went to Michael’s today to pick one up (*). I can now confirm that it’s just as fabulous as everyone says. I made a college of some Instagram pictures in Picasa (a Square collage with 9 pictures total), resized it to 5.25″ x 5.25″ and then printed it on my regular paper, cut the pictures, fed it through the little machine and boom, the backs were sticky. So cool. I love it!

I got that sticker maker when it first came out like 10 years ago and I still love it. I have the bigger one too. I used to be big into scrapbook in but don’t do it anymore and still have tons of the supplies. I don’t have room anymore.
Is the bigger one just that, bigger? Is there any other difference? What a cool little gadget!
It has rolls that you can use to laminate and to put magnet on the back if things. I believe they still sell that stuff for it. It has a turn dial on the side and everything comes out on a wax paper backing.

I love my little X machine. I also have a bigger Xyron and its what I can laminate with too if I wanted. (still haven’t done that yet). I use mine mostly for letters when scapping but pictures for my planner would be great too.
And now I need to order some B&BW. LOL

These celebrity weddings are a burden on us locals. They just make it really inconvenient to get around those areas due to roads being blocked off for the crews to park (a very popular beach and club are across from the Biltmore) and the noise pollution is annoying (Kim’s wedding for example was smack in the middle of a neighborhood and was LOUD, all we could hear was that wedding).
I cannot even imagine what a mess it must be!

Ugh, you totally got me with the B&BW deal! I keep wanting new candles, and soap is practical so I could justify it! We’ll see what my husband says when a million soaps show up.

I am a teacher in Indiana and there’s no school tomorrow. This weather is crazy! This makes our 4th day of no school for the school year along with 3 2-hour delays due to cold temps. I’m ready for summer~!!

Is the sticker maker really better than just using a glue stick or glue dots? I have been meaning to ask! BTW I am writing at 5:35am because I *totally* just woke up from my recliner “nap” 🙂
LOL! It is better. It adds adhesive to the entire back of the picture without adding any bulk at all. It’s exactly the same as when you started, just sticky.

xyron is awesome used it at stamp camp this week wallmart has the best price so i was told but I know you prob had sev coupons for yours at michaels my stampin up rep does card stamp camps 1 x per month have you seen thinlit card dies 1 girl in our group did cute minion valentines

I emailed Her Fashion Box because they offered me the $20 off the first order through email after I left my order in the cart and it didn’t work. It was only giving me $5 off. They emailed me back and said that the $20 off only applies to residence of Australia, so that’s a bummer.
