~Let’s see, what’s going on here today. It’s cold out. Not just cold. It’s COLD. It won’t stop me from going to Target though to see if their Christmas Clearance is 90% off yet though. My mom and I went yesterday and picked up a few things even though it was still only 70% off. I’d post a picture of what I got, but I seriously spent $20 and most of that was non-clearance stuff (like a crib sheet, lego minifigs, etc.). ~Umm, please tell me someone is excited as I am about the SPARTANS winning the Rose Bowl last night!! OMG, OMG, OMG. I almost had a heart attach watching. So friction nervous. It started off not so great, but the ending was amazing. Let me tell you, it feels good to be a Michigan State Spartan right now!
~Both B and I made it until midnight on NYE, but L fell asleep around 11:30pm. He tried SO hard to stay up, but it just wasn’t happening. Maybe next year. We watched the Ryan Seacrest special I thought the performances were okay, but nothing remarkable. However, I did learn that Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg were dating. WHAT? Where have I been? Stop it. How did I not know this? And why was he wearing sunglasses? My sister-in-law and I were talking about how clueless we were about this at dinner last night and we both thought that it was so odd that they were all over each other all night (this was before we knew). She said she was thinking “this is so awkward, his wife is going to be mad”. And I at home thinking “her boyfriend is going to try and kick his a**”. I actually had to google this last night and sure enough, they are a couple. #whoknew #mymomdid
~Just a quick heads up that the Advocare 24-Day Challenge is on sale from now until 1/21/14. The regular price is $190.25, but right now it’s $175. And to everyone who wanted a Spark sample pack (basically just a box of Spark, except with pouches in the flavors, instead of just one, for $22.95 + shipping), I have ordered more and will let you know what it arrives!
~I’m slowly ticking off items from this week’s “To Do” list and have updated the Subscription Box List and taken donations to the Salvation Army. I know need to get some clothes together for thredUP, get some packages sent out and (re)start C25K. I think that writing down little goals in my planner helps because I hate seeing them staring at me not finished ;). I should put “Take Down Christmas Decorations” in there, because that needs to happen, but I am going to delay that mess a few more days. It’ll happen eventually. Laundry too. That’s going to need to wait as well.
~Can I just say that I am loving having everyone home? I know that B and L were gone for a few days, but it’s so nice to just have everyone on vacation and to be able to sleep in, etc. WB’s being a complete character and I think the more people that kid has around, the better. He eats it up. And L just loves hanging out with B and I am hoping they have time to go to the trampoline park together before break is over (plus I kind of want to go too). This was the perfect break before the craziness begins again next week!
