February 2014 Bespoke Post Review
February 2014 Bespoke Post Review

I didn’t get a ton of boxes today, but one of the ones that arrived today was B’s February 2014 Bespoke Post.

In case you aren’t familiar with them, Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you’ll get to choose from their limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. Don’t want one that month? Just skip the month (you can opt out during the first 5 days of the month) and you won’t be charged.

The Box

Bespoke Post shipped via USPS (using Newgistics) and took about a week to arrive.  Maybe even a bit longer. This month seemed to go really slow?  Maybe just because I was so anxious to get the box!

First Look

I couldn’t remember the special details of the box, but I knew what was going to be included in it.  I just didn’t remember the patterns!

Second First Look

I don’t know why, but I thought the socks were a bit tamer when I originally saw the box, but I didn’t mind at all!  B wears “loud” socks so I knew he would be okay with it too.

The Information Card

Our February 2014 Bespoke Post box theme was Swagger which included a week’s worth of socks which will take you from the boardroom to weekend hikes.  The other option this month was “Made” which included all the details to give your suit the difference.  I knew right away at that Swagger was more for us since B rarely wears a suit.  Here is what was inside:

~Undercover – No Show Polka Dots ($15): I don’t know that B owns a pair of no-show socks like these, but I think that come summer, he will learn to love them.  Sometimes you wear to wear socks but they just don’t work with the outfit.  Now they do.

Undercover – No Show Polka Dots

~Marathon – Ankle Needle Stripes ($18): These are suggested to be worn to your next trip to the gym with sneakers and shorts, but I don’t know.  They seem so nice and more work-like to me.

Marathon – Ankle Needle Stripes

~Grizzly – Boot Socks Twisted ($30): B was so excited about these and wants to wear them tomorrow.  No idea what he’s wearing to work, but these socks are part of it.

Grizzly – Boot Socks Twisted

~Branson – Polka Dots ($24): Totally B.  Totally perfect for his every day work outfits.  He will probably wear these the most and are totally something he would buy.  And I hate to say it, but it’s possible he has purchased $24 socks in the past. They just last longer.  I swear.

Branson – Polka Dots

~Patriot – Crosswalk Stripe ($24): The suggestion with these is with jeans and suede bucks or leather sneakers.  I can for sure see that!

Patriot – Crosswalk Stripes

~Midas – Lux Gold ($24): These are the only ones that I think might be a little too wild.  Maybe it’s just because they are so bright?  I know B will still wear them though, so it doesn’t even matter what I think!

Midas – Lux Gold

~Throne – Royal Ribbed ($26): These are suit socks, but with a little extra fanciness.  They are thin and feel so nice.

Throne – Royal Ribbed

All totaled I came up with a value of around $161 for the February 2014 Bespoke Post – Swagger box.  Would I have just went out and bought seven pairs of socks for $161?  Heck no!  But 7 pairs for $45 is a complete steal in my opinion and while the box was’t super fun, it was beyond needed and practical for us!

What do you think of Bespoke Post?  Did you get a box this month?  Which one?  Interested in subscribing or just want to learn more?  Click here.  I don’t know of any coupons right now, but I will update you if I hear of any!
