February 2014 Happy Dig Box
February 2014 Happy Dig Box

Happy Dog Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly surprise box of hand-selected, all natural dog treats and toys picked by our experts with love and care. Each box is filled with 4-6 healthy, gourmet dog treats, toys and other products conveniently delivered to your door.

The Box

Happy Dog Box ships via USPS.  Your first box will ship within a week of your order and going forward your boxes will ship around the 23rd of the month.

First Look

I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but I was excited when I opened the box and saw all these great goodies!  Between my two dogs and my brothers three (plus the one who he is fostering), we are in need of lots of dog things!

The Information Card

Happy Dog Box has a fabulous information card with brand information, product details and more.  They also run a monthly contest where they give you a free box if you send them your dogs picture with their box and they end up using the picture on their information card.  Here is what was included:

~Barkworthies ($4): Love that there were two of these in here for Baxter and Buddy!  They will most certainly fight with each other anyway, but eventually they will settle down and enjoy their snacks.

Barkworthies

~Nootie YumZies Treats ($7.99): Baxter and Buddy love these, but they are great little training treats, so I will be passing these along to my brother’s herd.  They are grain free and made in the USA, which is huge these days!

Nootie YumZies Treats

~Dog for Dog Dosgbar ($3.99):  For every DogsBar you buy, they will donate one to a dog in need.  These can be used a snack, a meal supplement or in between meals.  This will be another item for my brother’s dogs who will much appreciate it!

~FlushPuppies Doodie Bags ($1): Not only are these waste bags, you can flush them down the toilet without any problem at all.  What a great idea because, well, you know why.

FlushPuppies Doodie Bags

~Loving Pets Purely Natural Dog Treats ($7.99):  We’ve had these before and the boys always enjoy them.  They are produced in the US with only naturally and locally sourced ingredients.

Loving Pets Purely Natural Dog Treats

~Petsport Toy ($~7):  This could not be a more perfect toy for my boys.  WB and Buddy love to play tug of war and this gives them both good spots to grab on to.  I say it all the time, but I need to get a video of these two in action.  It’s hysterical.  Buddy could so win in about two seconds, but he loves playing with WB so much that he pulls at WB strength so they can play longer.

Petsport Toy

~Licks for Dogs Liquid Vitamins ($5.07): I haven’t been able to get my dogs to actually try these yet, but I think I am going to try mixing it in with their food to see if that works.  Buddy for sure needs some Zen in his life ;).

Licks for Dogs Liquid Vitamins

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $37.04 for the February Happy Dog Box!  Boxes are $25/month (or $21/month if you do a 6-month or longer subscription) and boxes can be customized for small, medium or large sized dogs.

What do you think of Happy Dog Box?  What kind of dogs do you have?  If you ware interested in signing up or just want to learn more, click here!  Oh and did I mention that you’ll get 50% off your first box if you use my link, which would make your first box only $12.50?  Pretty awesome right???

Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
