February 2014 Love With Food

I couldn’t believe my luck with all the boxes I received yesterday! It seems as though they are all speeding their way here this month and I love it! One of those boxes happened to be my February 2014 Love With Food box!

If you aren’t familiar, Love With Food Box members receive a curated box filled with 8+ unique gourmet food items. Each box brings new delights, with bites that vary based on seasonal themes. In addition, Love With Food donates a meal to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here.

The Box

Love With Food ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out as DHL ends up being delivered by the Post Office) and took just four days to arrive this month.  In the past it’s taken up to 11 days to arrive. You just never know!

First Look

The first look was pretty darn good!  I didn’t see anything that I wasn’t excited about and I didn’t see much that I recognized, so that was good too.

The Information Card

The February 2014 Love With Food Box theme was “A Kiss to Build a Dream On” and included all the snacks we dream about including kisses of honey, chocolate and salt.  Here is what was inside:

~Snack Olives by Mario Camacho: Totally a B item. I am not a fan of olives, but B totally is and these will be gone within hours.

~Dark Chocolate Crepe by Dentelle by Gavottes:  Delicious!  I tried one of these right away and thought it was great.  Airy and crispy and it tastes a little coffee like to me, which I was totally okay with.

~Dark Chocolate Blueberries by Emily’s Chocolate:  L loves these and they will make a perfect lunchbox item for sure.

~Honey Graham Sticks by Back to Nature:  I am eating these as I type and think they are great.  I will certainly be picking up more of these goodies!

~Pure Notes Dark “Chocolatly” and “Mokaccino” Serious Milk Chocolate + Blue Bottle Coffee by TCHO: Also yummy!  I had the coffee one yesterday and loved it.  Sometimes you don’t need a huge slab of chocolate.  This was the perfect size.  I am saving the other for another day when I need a “fix”.

~Chocolate Chip Biscotti by Biscotti di Suzy: Biscotti isn’t my favorite, but I don’t really dislike it either.  If I am really hungry I will eat it, but it’s not a go to snack either.

~Restaurant Style White Bean Chip by Beanitos: Bean chips never sound too amazing, but they are always better than expected.  With the right salsa, these are great.  But as amazing as the not so good for you tortilla chips I love, but they do the trick in a pinch.

~Love With Food Chip Clip: This is so ridiculous, but I love this.  It’s just a chip clip, but it’s probably my favorite item in the box.  And I kind of want a few more.  LOL!!!

Love With Food Chip Clip

As usual, I loved my Love With Food box.  I always think it’s well worth the $12 I spend and will probably subscribe forever.  I may not always love everything, but it’s better to just try the things one at a time instead of being stuck with a full sized bag of something you are just meh about.

If you are interested in signing up click here.  Subscriptions (for a regular box) are $12/month, but you can use the code “YUMMY″ to get your first box for only $2.  You can’t beat that can you??  ETA: The code will also take $10 off a Deluxe box subscription which would bring your first box down to $9.95.  I can’t locate any coupon codes for the Deluxe Box (it’s $19.95/month and contains 16-2o items), but, as always, I will keep my eyes open for one and will update if I hear anything!  And if you got the Deluxe box, did you get any different goodies in it?  Do tell!

This is 2nd new box this week I have subscribed to because of your reviews! LOL I am really looking forward to getting this one.

Well, at least it was inexpensive right????

Ditto!! I quit all my boxes early last year except Ipsy, but I’ve recently been stalking your page again. Since then, I’ve purchased two February PS boxes, one Feb Glossybox, one LE resort PS box and two snack boxes including Love With Food. My husband hates you and he doesn’t even know it! Hahaha! You do such a great job with your blog, it’s definitely my favorite!

        1. Jennifer

Aww thank you! I’m so excited for the resort box I can hardly stand it!!

      2. Ruth Gilbert

Yes they certainly were; especially with your codes.

We loved everything in the February box so much that we purchased the Deluxe Box! I NEED more of those chocolate crepes!

      So good!

I just signed up for this, thanks to you! I was able to use the “yummy” code for the deluxe box and get my first for 9.95. Looks too yummy and cheap to pass up!

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, I didn’t realize it worked on the Deluxe as well! Thank you!

      1. Nicole

It seems from looking at the Instagram pictures that deluxe just means double the goodies, possibly with some extras. I could be wrong, but that’s what the pictures seemed to support. Either way, won’t complain! Double goodies for the price of the standard box, I’ll take it!

        1. Jennifer

I think sometimes it includes a different product or two but it does seem like it’s mainly duplicates which is okay (if you love the stuff of course)

I just signed up for it too! Can’t go wrong for $2 LOL, not that I haven’t signed up for enough boxes lately, but oh well!

    1. Jennifer

For $2 how could you not??

  5. Michelle

I got this box too ! At first i had no clue what the chip clip was ha but it will be convenient to have around !

i think i am most excited about the chocolates 🙂

    1. Jennifer

I get excited about the smallest things. This chip clip had me so thrilled!

  6. Rachel

I got the deluxe box and I got another flavor of the green olives (which is great because I love those), a bag of cheddar black truffle popcorn, and Belgian chocolate truffles in addition to doubles of most everything you got (I think I got 1 bag of the honey graham sticks). So, it’s mostly double what’s in the regular box, with a few extras or variations, like you said. I really like the chip clip too (but wish it had a magnet because I like to stick my chip clips on the fridge when they’re not in use). And I love the chocolate. Delicious and smooth!

    1. Jennifer

      Oh that popcorn sounds good!!

I found this blog while researching BirchBox & a couple hours later I discovered multiple boxes that I want 😛
I guess only getting BirchBox won’t do, I definitely have to get Love With Food as well!

    1. Jennifer

There are so many great ones aren’t there??

  8. Cheryl
