February 2014 Q Box
February 2014 Q Box

Q Box, who sent me this box to review, sends 5-7 hand-selected items in beauty, fashion, accessories, home from mainly Japanese and Korean brands. Boxes are $24.95/month and promise to include full sized products with a value of $60+.

The Box

Q Box ships from Canada and took just over a week to arrive to me.  I’d seen what was inside at one point, but I couldn’t recall, so I was headed in pretty much spoiler free.

First Look

I couldn’t tell too much from the first look. but I was ready to see more.

The Information Card

This box arrived yesterday which would not have been at a better time since yesterday was Valentine’s Day and this box’s theme was “Happy Valentine’s Day”!  Here is what was inside the February 2014 Q Box:

~Too Cool for School Powder ($15): This may be the coolest powder I have ever owned.  I mean it has a dinosaur on it!!!  I am now on a mission to locate more of this brand because I love it so much!

Too Cool for School Powder

~Beam Lights Moonin Tote Bag (~$10): I can’t find this online, but it’s a cute little tote and I will figure out a use for it!  There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t grab by bag plus a tote, so it’ll come in handy.

~Beam Lights Matching Pouch (~$5):  I’m not sure I would say that this matches the tote, but it’s the same material and brand, so I’ll go with it.  I actually think the tote is even cuter and will be using it for some of my fancy pens and that sort of thing!

~Love Heart Shape Photo Clip (~$5): These come with a string to clip pictures up like an banner, but I am thinking about adding magnets to them and using them as fridge picture holders.

~Harajuku Lovers Pearl Earrings ($25):  Not totally my style, but cute and I know that I will be able to pass these on to a friend.

~KOKO Cat iPhone Case ($16.99): This is so silly, but I am so join to use it on my phone.  I’ve been liking having different cases lately and I am curious to see how long it will take before B comments on it ;).

~Surprise Item: Bird Washi Tape ($3):  When I saw that we were getting a item I was instantly excited.  And OMG when I saw that I got bird washi tape, I was thrilled.  Could it have been any more perfect for me??  I have seen this tape around and have always loved / wanted it.  This is awesome!

Surprise Item: Bird Washi Tape

~Assorted Snacks ($2):  A few items to snack on.  And also some tea so that I can restart my tea collection for my cousin.  I just a bunch of tea up-north for her that should last her a while, but I am always saving it!  Plus, I do love that the packaging is in french and english.  Something about that makes the fruit snacks makes them seem even fancier.

Snacks

All totaled the February 2014 Q Box had a value about $81.99.  Some of the items were estimated, so either way, it was certainly worth the $24.95 price tag (plus $7.50 shipping) seems much more reasonable!  I enjoyed this box more than even the January one and the March one, which you can see below, is looking pretty good too!
