Eek! My February 2014 SocialBliss Style Box is here! SocialBliss kindly sent me this box to review and I was hoping it would appear by the end of February because I have been so anxious for it.
If you aren’t familiar, the Style Box by Socialbliss, is a brand new fashion, lifestyle and accessories box.Boxes contain items which may be featured on the Socialbliss site, along with others that are emerging hot items not yet available to the public. Boxes are $47.90 ($39.95 plus $7.95 shipping) and promise a monthly value of at least $100.
The Style Box by SocialBliss ships via USPS Priority Mail and took two days to arrive to me in MI from their location in California. I actually didn’t think that this would make it before the end of February because I hadn’t heard anything, but happily it did!
I totally peeked at the spoilers for this one which I think made me even more excited to receive it in person. Everything was packaged so nicely and looked perfect.
Ohhh, I was liking what I saw here even more than what I saw from the spoilers! The colors were fabulous!
I am not sure if the February 2014 Style Box by SocialBliss had a theme, but the quote on the front of the information card was by Rachel Zoe and stated “Style is a Way of Saying Who You Are Without Having To Speak” and I would say that these items fit that description. Here is what was included:
~Wrapped Up in Radiance Scarf ($22): I hope my pictures do this one justice because this is just flat out gorgeous. The colors, the print, everything. I love it! The card says that it’s in this year’s pantone color of the year: Radiant Orchid, which I didn’t realize, so it was a fitting selection.
~Inked in Stylus Pen ($10): This is way more fun than a regular pen and a regular stylus! It really is more of an accessory than a writing utensil and I am keeping this in my iPad case.
~Fleur de Wallet ($45): When I first saw a picture of this I wasn’t impressed. But it’s much much nicer in person. It’s well made and when I switch bags I am popping this in as my wallet. And it has a chain you can attach that makes it a wristlet which is awesome because I often do just run into a store with my wallet, but I run out of hands too!
~Vinotherapy Face Mask by Nasiture ($3): I have never heard of a wine mask before! The suggestion is to use it after a rough night (which may or may not have included wine consumption) to restore you for the next day. I plan to do just that over the weekend!
~Go Matte Polish by She ($4): I have never heard of this brand, but this certainly is a fun polish. And again, in the Pantone color of the year! I already want more of these polishes in assorted colors.
~Galena Bliss Ring ($55): This is gorgeous. It was made just for the Style Box and comes in Silver or Gold. I didn’t have a preference on color, but I really really like the gold in person. The contrast between the gold and the crushed galena mineral crystals is fabulous. I should also mention that this ring is sizable, so it should fit most everyone.
All totaled I came up with a value of $139 for February 2014 Socialbliss Style Box and I love it! Like I mentioned, the box itself is $39.95 plus shipping per month, so the value is more than double the cost of the box. This box just seals the fact that this is going to FOR SURE be one of my new monthly subscriptions!
