Yay! My February 2014 Stitch Fix is here! Since Stitch Fix is getting harder and harder to schedule “on demand” I have myself set up for monthly fixes now so they come on a set schedule.
If you aren’t familiar, Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. You provide your style, size, and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. There is a $20 styling fee that is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. And if you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything! Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.
Stitch Fix ships via FedEx and took just shy of a week to arrive to me. It was delayed a day which I am guessing related to this weather mess that went on this week.
I totally peeked in my account to see what was in my Fix this month before it arrived. It just lists item names in there and doesn’t have pictures, so I wasn’t spoiled too much, but I did have an idea of what to expect!
Stitch Fix comes with an information card, but I don’t know exactly what I did with mine? The excitement of the Games has me all flustered! The information sheet includes a listing of everything in the box, prices, and then a total of how much everything would be if you kept everything in the box (it deducts your $20 styling fee and the 25% discount for keeping all of your items). Just to give you an idea, my box had a merchandise total of $324 and had I kept everything, I would have had to pay $228 (plus my $20 styling fee). In comparison, my Fix from last month would have been $180 to keep everything.
Here is what my box included:
~411Hawthorn – Ivy Abstract Floral Print Tab Blouse ($68): At first I looked at this and was like, umm, no way. Not at all. And now I love the print, but the shirt just looks silly on me. I’d love a bathing suit cover-up in this print though! Verdict: Returned.
~Tulle Angeline Airy Knit Open Cardigan ($78): I saw cardigan in my account when I peeked and got all excited! Sadly this one just doesn’t do it for me. Unlike the printed top (which I am seriously sad doesn’t work for me), I have no regrets about sending this one back. Verdict: Returned.
~THML Basel Lightweight Striped Sweater ($68): Love this one! It’s not really seasonally appropriate for this weather, but what really is? It’s supposed to be like -20 with the windchill again tonight and it’s to the point where I don’t even know that anyone cares anymore! Anyway, this is totally me and I love it. Verdict: Kept.
~Tart Galena Solid Pleated Ponte Skirt ($78): This is so not me. I am certain on the right person it would be beyond adorable, but not on me. No, no, no. Verdict. Returned.
~Rikka Betty Chevron Infinity Scarf ($32): Yes, yes, yes! A million times yes!!!! I’ve seen these chevron scarves in previous fixes and have it as a note for my stylist. I so love this. The color, the patter, it’s all perfect. Verdict. Kept!
I’m keeping two items from this Fix and I am more than happy with those two, so this is a win for me! I will do some more updates to my Pinterest board (I just paste a link to it into my stylist notes) and make sure to note that short skirts are not for me and will be anxiously awaiting my March Fix!

I’ve gotten that exact infinity scarf on a previous Fix and I love it!! It’s super cute with a white v-neck tee and a jean jacket! Enjoy it!!! <3
It’s gorgeous!
I’m kind of jealous of that skirt! I have a feeling you wouldn’t complain too much if everything they sent you was chevron. 😉
I probably wouldn’t even wear a chevron skirt!!! It’s more of a scarf print for me. Now, in decorating or that sort of thing, I am all over it.
When I saw the first picture I knew you would love that scarf. It is awesome. That cardigan looks a little grandmaish. LOL not sure what would have let them think you would like it.
LOL. I know. It made me go back and look at my pins to see where I led them in this direction.
I LOVE that striped sweater! So cute! I think I would have kept the same items if I had received this fix! Except… maybe also the skirt. Love that color.
I loved that color too!
Your stitch was perfect! I got my second one yesterday and I had no idea you could peek. What!??
I’m more into floral and long skirts but I love that sweater you got.
