It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Troubles. I’ve said it before (like every week), but this should be named “things i’m annoyed / confused / want to complain about”, however I couldn’t figure out how to make any of those into a snappy title, so Tuesday Troubles it is. And yes, I do realize that these aren’t true “troubles”. I know that many of these for sure could be defined as first world problems!
~So I went into abercrombie kids the other day to check out their clearance stuff. And quickly I was reminded that I was OLD. Okay, so it was loud in there, but I was expecting that. It’s loud at my house too and I can function in that. But listen, it was straight up nightclub dark in there. I could NOT see the sizes on the clothes I was looking at. The clearance area is dark. I told the teenager working there I needed a flashlight. She was like, no, they just need to turn the lights on in here so we can see. We laughed and I told her at least it didn’t reek of cologne in there. She was like ugh, that probably means I need to go spray some. Turns out they don’t have the automatic sprayers that abercrombie for grown-ups (well something like that) has. Dude really? Do we really need our kids clothes we are buying in the dark pre-scented with cologne? Seriously? Stop it. At least turn the lights on. Or make different labels so I can see what size to get.
~Does anyone have any advice / tips on how to improve posture? My neck / shoulders / back have been hurting lately and I know it’s from sitting all slumped over and I am over it. What do I need to do to fix this? Help!
~Does anyone else get this add in their Facebook feed? I want that 5 pack of EOS balms so badly, but I am guessing that this isn’t really a real deal. But every time I see that, I want to give them whatever information it is that they need to make this happen for me. Why are they torturing me like this???
~Does anyone even care about this cold weather / snow anymore? Seriously. I feel like everyone has just given up. We all know it’s going to snow and yet, no salt trucks are out pretreating the roads, so it turns everything into a disaster. We don’t even talk about it when it gets to be like -15 anymore. It’s just expected. We’re all just over it. 10 degrees is considered warm which is insane. And it’s so not even over yet!
~If you have kiddos, are you doing anything special for them for Valentine’s Day? I hadn’t really given it any thought until yesterday when a set of legos I ordered for L came and my mom was like are you giving him those for Valentine’s Day? Hmm. I don’t know, but I could?? Any cool meal ideas / fun gifts I can do?
~Oh and two more things. I’m not personally annoyed or troubled this, but I am guessing Bob Costas is super annoyed with his eye infection. It.looks.nasty. I had a similar infection years ago and I basically just holed up inside (in between doctors visits) until it went away, but poor Bob has to work on tv. And the second. My brother picked up a stray dog the other day and has been attempting to locate it’s owners. No dice. Shelters full, no one can help, blah, blah, blah. Frustrating to say the least!
