Wantable Intimates
Cost: $36/month.
Ships To: United States (Free), Canada ($6), United Kingdom ($7) & Australia ($10).
Wantable Intimates, who kindly sent me this box to review, was one of the many boxes I received yesterday and I couldn’t wait to tear right into it!
Wantable Intimates, which is $36/month, sends you 4-5 premium essentials, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. Items may include flirty panties, sporty tanks, essential camis, cozy socks, stylish tights, and comfy soft bras.
Wantable Intimates ships via USPS First Class and arrived to me in two days. This was a larger box than I normally receive from them so that had me even more anxious to see what was inside.
I was excited by the first look. All the colors were beautiful and I liked what I could see.
I mention it every time, but you can totally customize your Wantable box. You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike. You’ll get more of the things you love and none of the things you Dislike. It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. I have been keeping mine the same from month-to-month because I have been happy with what I have been getting.
The April 2014 Wantable Intimates box includes comfortable intimates to help you leap into Spring. Brands new to Wantable this month include Miel, Honeydew Intimates, Adrienne Vittadini and K. Bell. They are also sending new items from some old favorites Steve Madden, Betsey Johnson and St. Eve. Here is what I included:
~Kiby’s Iris Thong (Fushia) ($15): Totally cute, but I wouldn’t go pick it up on my own. It looks to be very well made and I wouldn’t think twice about throwing this in the washer and dryer (there is no time for putting things in special lingerie bags here).
~Adrienne Vittadini Boot Sock ($18): The Wantable information card says these are $18, but I probably wouldn’t pay $18 for two pairs of socks. Maybe $10. Anyway, you’d think these wouldn’t be seasonally appropriate, but considering that it snowed here today, these are perfect.
~Cotton Slub Racerback Tank ($8.49): Love this! The color is perfect, the tank is soft and comfy and I am happy! I would love to know where to pick these up for less than $10 because I would totally get more.
~Betsey Johnson Intimates Black Tee ($36): This is the “big” item in my box and I am just kind of meh on it. I don’t love the rhinestones but I do like the shape of the tee and it is super soft, so I will wear it to lounge around the house.
All totaled I came up with a value of $77.49 for the April 2014 Wantable Intimates box! Boxes are $36/month ($40 if you just do a one time only box) so the value was there, but this box didn’t do it for me like some my recent Wantable intimates ones have.
Do you subscribe to Wantable? If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? Click here to subscribe or learn more.
I ended up skipping this month since I was going to be on my cruise and never went back in to order it. I’ll just get one next month. Cute box though but I agree on the shirt not my style but I’d probably wear it around the house. I can’t believe you had snow today. We went out for a walk without coats this afternoon and expecting 70s tomorrow.
It didn’t stick, but it snowed! And hailed. So weird.
I just heard on the radio an old navy commercial for a sale on women’s tank tops tomorrow $2 each although there’s a limit 5 per person. Seems like a great deal to me.
Oh I wonder what they look like. I need to google!
Love everything. I like “shiny” but think the Betsey Johnson shirt would have been much better plain at the neckline. The sparkles around the thunderbolt on the side would have been cute and unexpected and you would still be able to wear it in public!
Agree!
I got the same Betsy Johnson black shirt. Not my favourite, but at least it will go nicely with my BJ pink & black sleep shorts.
what else did you get?
A soft grey T-shirt ($9.99) by Cotton Slub (?), Wantable taupe striped boy shorts ($8), and a blue with grey trimming Steve Madden item that says chemise but fits me like a mini-dress ($36). I liked it much better after I tried it on, although it does show more skin than I am used to. I wish I could attach a photo but don’t seem able to.
Those undies are adorable! And I don’t even like thongs! I would totally deal! Haha!
LOL!
