Eeek! My Fancy Mystery Box (well boxes) arrived today! I was so excited when I got the e-mail from Fancy last week about these Mystery Boxes and purchased two (a Men’s one and a Women’s one) right away!
If you aren’t familiar with Fancy, they offer a regular monthly Fancy Box full of cool goodies or celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites). This box, however, was only $10 (plus shipping) and promised to contain $30+ retail value worth of goods.
Just like with their monthly Fancy Boxes, the Mystery Fancy Box also ships via FedEx and took two days to arrive to me. They ship from NY and I am in MI and I totally love that fast FedEx shipping.
The minute I opened up this box I was happy! I knew that even if I didn’t like anything else, I would still be happy with this box. The Fancy Mystery Box does not come with any information cards, but that’s no big deal! Here is what was included:
~Ciate Mini Mani Month ($29): The regular price on this is $58, but I found it on sale for 50% off, so I am going with that price. OMG I am in love! I gave away one of these during my 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways, but I never ended up buying one for myself. It’s got nineteen of their bestselling mini Paint Pots, four textured manicure toppers from Caviar to Sequin and a surprise full size paint pot! Love, love, love. This made the entire box for me. Anything else I received was just a bonus!
~Black Back Seam Tights ($20): I don’t know that I will wear these (actually I might wear them but I don’t know where I would go), but I will pass them on to a friend who will like them.
~Solutions That Stick Fashion First Aid ($9.95): This kit contains five “fashion fixes” including things to fix pit stains, ring around the collar and also to help with raw heels from those pesky new shoes. I think this little kit is awesome and it’s going in my bag!
~Ted Baker London Ted’s Beauty Spot Manicure Set ($50): I believe this came in a Coca Rocha Fancy Box once, but I don’t get that box so this is perfection. Not only is the case gorgeous, but the tools look very well made and I totally need a new manicure set! Eeek! I am so excited about this!
All totaled I came up with a value of $108.95 for the Women’s Fancy Mystery Box. I paid $17.95 ($10 + $7.95 shipping) and am beyond excited about this. Heck, I would have thought this was an amazing Fancy Box, but for a $10 Mystery Box? Insanity. I could not be happier. I am even thinking about buying another one. Or two. Just to see what I’d get!
