My February 2014 GLOSSYBOX arrived yesterday and made it in as one of the last of the February boxes to arrive. Well, at least one of the last of the February boxes to arrive on time.
GLOSSYBOX is $21/month and sends you five luxury surprise beauty items to your door every month. I am a huge GLOSSYBOX fan and have been a subscriber for over a year now. The values of their boxes are always amazing and they have introduced me to a ton of products along the way.
GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and when I tracked it yesterday morning, it said that my box was still in Indiana. Clearly that was not the case as it appeared in my mailbox shortly after!
GLOSSYBOX has, hands down, the best boxes. I reuse them when I package up boxes of makeup for my cousins and friends. I just sent my cousins up-north a GLOSSYBOX full of assorted nail polishes! I can never bring myself to throw these away. They are “too good”.
I’d seem a few variations of the February 2014 GLOSSYBOX in the past few days and was super curious to see which one I’d get. The first look made me think I was missing something in my box, but it was all there.
The February 2014 GLOSSYBOX theme was “The Month of Love” and included items this month to help serve as a reminder to take some time off to primp and pamper yourself. Here is what was included:
~Anatomicals Puffy the Eye Bag Slayer Wake Up Under Eye Patches ($11): After the last few weeks I have had, these are a like a gift from above. I will be finishing up this pack and buying more. For sure. I swear I saw this line at WalMart last time I was there. Can anyone confirm that? Because that would be amazing to have it so accessible.
~Lauren B. Beauty Nail Couture in City of Angels ($18): This is a brand new polish line that is launching in the Spring. The color is maybe a little too light for me, but I will make it work.
~Pureology Serious Colour Care Colour Fanatic ($3.58): Next time I color my hair I am so going to start using this. I think perhaps the reason my color doesn’t last like it should is because I don’t take care of it. This is suppose to protect and perfect color-treated hair.
~Renu Lip and Eye Active Lift ($49): The bottle says that this is 25mL, which would make it full sized so I am going with it. It’s a specialist cream which is suppose to smooth fine lines and expression lines and plump deeper wrinkles and reduce dark circles. I am going to try this for a few weeks and hope to see some amazing results!
~Sumita Beauty Kala Color Intense Pencil ($15): This is probably the item I am least excited about. I’m not a huge eyeliner fan, so this will be passed along to a friend.
All totaled I came up with a value of $96.58 for the February 2014 GLOSSYBOX! As always, the value is incredible and I am thrilled with the box. The box is $21/month, however I subscribed during some promotion so I pay only $17.85/month. I’d love to intern at a subscription box business to see how the selections get made and how that all works.
