Friday iPhone Dump is simply a summary of your week in iPhone (or whatever) pictures! Feel free to link up if you want to share!
1. We got some super cool sand molds and sand (like cool moldable sand) from an out of town friend and the boys loved it! And I did too. It made me feel like I was at the beach (well kind of) and was oddly calming to mold sand with the boys.
2. This cover speaks to me. Mason jar mugs and a cool drink dispenser? Chalkboard background and fonts too? I love it all. And I feel like I need those mugs. Oh yeah and whatever drink is in them.
3. WB was so excited to get frozen yogurt yesterday. He was running to the machines and we were cracking up. And when he was done eating, he took his boots off and started dancing to the music they had going. He knows how to have a good time ;).
4. I am loving this little guy. Look for it in my March Best of the Boxes post! And probably in a future giveaway. I never knew I needed an elephant ring holder until one appeared in a subscription box.
5. Ahh, before the snow on Wednesday and the freezing weather yesterday, we had Monday when it was 50+ degrees out. And we took full advantage. That is WB sliding down a watermelon slice. Last summer he was too little to really do it on his own. Not anymore!
6. Monday night also included a fun dinner at Bar Louie with the boys. Those two scarfed down our chips and dips app in record time. It gave me a glimpse into the teen years and they will surely be eating us out of house and home! Luckily they kept their hands off my chicken avocado tacos. OMG they were insanely good.
7. I spied this the other day at Kroger. Someone should give us all an award for this winter. Not only was it COLD, it was a cold snowy mess all winter. So far this winter we have had 90.7 inches of snow in Detroit. On average we get like 40 inches a year. And the record for the snowiest winter EVER in Detroit is 93.6 inches and that was umm, 100 years ago. This has been nuts. But seriously, snow a few more inches so we can at leafs break the record. No one wants to be 2nd best (or worst really).
8. Speaking of nuts, this is the notification I saw on Wednesday when I tracked one of my packages. The mail never made it here Wednesday. They didn’t come anywhere near our neighborhood on Wednesday, which listen, is fine. It’s snowy and the roads suck. But I can assure you that no magical notice was left anywhere telling me to clear out my mailbox. Who would have left it since the mailman didn’t even drive down my street that day? Where would they have put it if my mailbox was blocked? So many questions. No answers.
9. And finally, these two. Do you think they look alike? I so cannot tell. In general I think no??? They certainly both are adorable though.
How was your week? Any big highlights??
Syracuse gets on average for the season 123.8 ? and we?re at 173.5… will this winter ENDDDDDD please!! And I think the boys look like brothers not identical… and yes both adorable! I’m loving my popsugar elephant too.
OMG that is a lot of snow!!!!
I’m glad i’m not the only one that wanted to drop what I was doing and run to Bed, Bath & Beyond to buy everything on that front cover as soon as I pulled it out of my mailbox! 🙂
It’s perfection!
Haha per #2, I love the power of cool packaging to make us want things. Sigh. Also, it doesn’t totally look like it in the pic, but I’ve thought several times that your boys look a lot alike. Either way, they are adorable!!
Packaging sucks me in every single time.
If that was USPS I think they just put a reason why your package wasn’t delivered no matter how inaccurate. The boys are darling but distinctly different. Love hearing about all the new things WB can do – E is right behind him and as much as I will miss my baby, I’m very excited about my budding toddler!
Yeah, they just mark whatever. Today I didn’t get any of my packages and they were marked “delivered”. So annoying. I am sure they will come tomorrow.
Okay first, that bed bath and beyond flyer… I get them all the time, but that cover made me keep this one to look threw. And second, I love that little elephant too! Absolutely love him. I may name him! Lol
Is it weird that I want the entire little animal collection? I want to hang them on the wall. Rings would stay right?
Oh my… I haven’t even looked at the collection, all I know is my mom thought I was crazy the way I was talking as she opened hers up, like it was a cute little newborn! Lol
I’m loving the PS elephant too! And Aimee is right, he needs a name. 🙂
I think your boys look like they’re related, but not copies or anything. You can defintely tell my brother and I are related, but my sister doesn’t look like either of us. Funny how that works out.
I will have to think of one!
Your boys look like two peas in the pod… Those looks on their faces look quite devious! LOL! I bet you have your hands fun on some days.
I don’t know how you deal with all that snow! I would go stir-crazy! Here on the north coast we have a little bit of the seasons…. No long extremes… Maybe only for 5 or six days… But sometimes we have a run of everything in one day, freezing temps, hail, snow, rain, thunder lightening , muggy 67 degree’s.
I love those mason jar mugs and drink dispenser, I’ve seen them at our local Fred Meyers and Ross. I really want them too. But really where would you store them? I think… Although I did see an idea yesterday on FB about using the glasses/jars w/lids as premade layered lunch salads, made sense….. Good excuse for me to purchase the next time I spy them in the store! 🙂
I love that ring holder, I hope my box gets here sooner rather than later! It was sent off from California on the 10th and made it up to Portland Oregon by the next evening. I was so pumped, was nearly jumping up and down (at least I wanted too!)….. I’m only two hours away from the Fedex Hub on the coast. But alas at the Portland/troutedale Fedex hub it took a turn up North clear across the state of Washington and isn’t due here until the 17th! They were just teasing me! Please! Oh please! come on Monday! I won’t be here on Tuesday til late! It’s my first box! I am so wanting it now! Can’t wait!
Ha! Totally!
The snow has been too much this year! It’s been crazy!!!!
I hope you get your box tomorrow!!!!
I love that Bath, Bed & Beyond cover, too. It makes me want to schedule some family picnics right now!
Totally!!
Oh my seeing your USPS post reminded me of an article I just read. There is a neighborhood near mine who isn’t getting anymail. The PO says that this new neighborhood of single family homes is supposed to have a mailbox cluster and not individual boxes but apparently they never told the developer that info. The city is even saying that the PO must have changed their plan after the developer had already gotten permits for the neighborhood. So for now the poor people have to go to the PO to pick up their mail and I’m not sure which one they have to go to but there isn’t one really close to us. We have the remote POs in gas stations and stuff but if I have to get a package from the actual PO its about 30min away so to not get mail is a huge issue. The PO is also saying that before people buy a house they should call and ask how they are getting their mail. Uhm really? That is just crazy to me and they are saying its a cost saving measure but you can’t change your mind after permitting. If we wanted to change something with the city after permitting we would have to pay. I would be highly perturbed to by a fairly nice house that has a driveway and a matching mailbox installed and then not get my mail.
We had a cluster of mailboxes like that when we first moved in there. It was a few years before we actually got mail in the mailboxes in front of our house. It was SO exciting when we finally did though. I think the sub had to be 60% full or something like that? I’m not too sure. But that’s crazy that no one told them!
