Artistry Gift Wrap, who kindly sent me this box to review, sends you an exciting monthly box filled with fun papers, bows, ribbons and more, which will be delivered to your door. Each month a different artist or designer or type of specialty gift wrap will be featured in their ‘surprise’ boxes, which will also be available for purchase in their shop.

The Package

Artistry Gift Wrap ships via USPS Priority Mail.  Your first box will ship within 2-7 days of ordering, with subsequent shipments being sent the first half of the month.  Currently boxes ship from Illinois and are only available in the United States.  And I hadn’t really thought about how they could be shipping flat paper or rolled paper, but it appears that they had ;).

First Look

I couldn’t tell what anything was, but I was intrigued by the feel of the paper. I was super careful about getting everything out because I wanted to make sure I didn’t ruin anything.

The Information Card

The March 2014 Artistry Gift Wrap collection features products that are designed in England and then produced in India and all items have a Butterfly theme.  Here is what was included:

~Pink Butterfly Bubbles Paper ($4.50): The papers this month are handmade from recycled cotton and screen-printed using water based ink.  And they are gorgeous.  I am not one to be careful about not ripping the wrapping paper when opening something, however, if I received a gift wrapped in this, you better bet I would be careful not to damage it.  Heck, I’d probably try and reuse it ;).

~Pink Butterflies Paper ($4.50): I never buy fancy wrapping paper and I am starting to think that maybe I need to start more.  The kids wouldn’t appreciate it, but I think most other people would.  It seems to make the gift even more special.

~Small Lilac Butterfly Giftbag ($2.50): This bag is made from the same cotton paper as the wrapping sheets, however, I think this may even be thicker?  I would totally reuse this if someone gifted me something in it and I hope whoever I gift it to does the same.

~Lilac Butterfly Garland ($9.75): I am not sure if I will use this on a bigger gift or if I will somehow separate it and use it as gift tags (I am kind of leaning towards that).  I love them though, so I will figure something out.

~Silver Sparkles Luxury Ribbon ($3.75):  I think I should include learning to tie on a beautiful ribbon on my bucket list.  I struggle making them gorgeous but it seems so effortless for some people.  Any tips?

~Glue Dots ($2.49): I was confused about the Glue Dots about first, but I they included them because they are recommended to be used with cotton papers for a professional gift wrapping finish.  I never would have thought to use glue dots for wrapping, so this is a great tip.

All totaled, per prices listed on the Artistry Gift Wrap information card, I came up with a total of $27.49 for the March 2014 box.  The box I received is the “Papers Plus” package which is $24.98/month, however, you can also opt for the “Papers Only” subscription which is $14.98/month.

What do you think of Artistry Gift Wrap? If you are interested in subscribing or want to learn more, click here.  Right now they are offering $5 off either subscription for LIFE (no code necessary), however, I am not sure how long that will last so you may want to act fast!

Beautiful papers but I think I’ll hold out for clearance wrap at target.
