Bestowed, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box that offers 5+ amazing nutrition and lifestyle products delivered to your door every month – each one hand picked by celebrity nutritionist and author Heather Bauer. It’s $19/month and delivers around the 15th of the month.

The Box

Bestowed Box ships via FedEx Smart Post this month.  For whatever reason, this one doesn’t show up in my FedEx alerts which I don’t quite understand?  But it never seems to take as long as some of my other Smart Post shipments do.

The Information Card

The March 2014 Bestowed box includes immunity boosting products to help you stay healthy these last few months of winter.  And let me tell you, I wish for nothing more than for everyone to stay healthy until next winter!  Here’s what was included:

~Coromega Omega3 Squeeze Orange 7 Day Pack: Instead of taking a big fish oil pill or liquid fish oil (that wouldn’t happen here), you can take these orange cream squeeze packs instead.  I couldn’t resist trying one right away and it seriously tastes like an orange creamsicle.  For real.  It’s like a bedtime treat!

~Hello Fresh $40 Gift Card: I love Hello Fresh and if you haven’t tried them yet getting a $40 gift card would be a great way to start!  It’d make your first box only $20, which, for six meals is awesome.  I will be passing mine on to a friend since I already subscribe.

~Justin’s 80-Calorie Honey Peanut Butter Squeeze Packet: Yum! I have had this brand before and it’s awesome.  And it’s a snack I can (well I am going to) have while I am eating clean which is even better!  I don’t know that you can beat peanut butter + apples.  You just can’t.

~Nothin’ But Lemon Ginger Cashew Premium Snack Bar:  This is made from organic oats and with ginger and lemon and also has cranberries, cashews and sunflower seeds.  I am planning on throwing this in my bag for an emergency snack.

~Reed’s Ginger Chews: I’m not sure how I feel about these yet! I don’t dislike them, but I don’t really like them either.  LOL.  They are supposed to help satisfy your sweet tooth, but I think I’d prefer a cupcake.

~Stash Tea Organic Lemon Ginger Tea: With all the tea I receive in subscription boxes I am starting to think that I am the only person who doesn’t like tea.   I will send this to my cousin to enjoy.

~Vigilant Eats Superfood Cereal: There is a spoon inside this container and you can add hot or cold water or your favorite kind of milk and it’s an instant breakfast.  I will send this off to work with B where it will be much appreciated.

The ginger candy chews are really strong! I don’t think I will eat anymore of mine. I like Bestowed, but too many ginger products for my liking in this one. I would like Bestowed even if there wasn’t a monthly theme.

There was a lot of ginger in this one!

I get this box too, and I am with you on the tea! I have only been getting sub boxes since January, and I already have a whole box full of teas that I won’t drink. I was thinking I must be the only person who doesn’t like it as well. I love the ginger candies, I have an obsession. And the omega squeezes are weird to me – yeah they do have a good flavor, but it is weird knowing that it is made out of fish oil, so I have a hard time with it and would rather just take a capsule.

I just tried not to think about what was in them when I ate it!

Yeah, I think that would work for most people! I’m just a weirdo LOL – I’m vegetarian for the sole reason that meat just grosses me out, so it is very hard for me to not think about. I will still definitely use them and I think they are a cool product, but I’ll have to have a can of soda or something nearby to wash it down quick. 😛
