March 2014 Fancy Food Box Review
March 2014 Fancy Food Box Review

I was so excited when I got home from lunch today and found my March 2014 Fancy Food Box on my porch! If you aren’t familiar Fancy offers not only their celebrity curated and original Fancy Box, they also offer a Fancy Food Box, which includes five or more food products – anything from cookies and chocolates to teas and sauces. It’s probably my favorite of the Fancy boxes and I think B would agree.

The Box

Fancy Box ships via FedEx and as always took two days to arrive.  Unlike some of the Fancy boxes that ship late or on a wacky schedule, this one is always right on time! Sometimes even early (I expect it around the 10th of the month).

First Look

I knew from the first look we were off to a good start. B loves McClures and I couldn’t want to see what else was included.

The Information Cards

The March 2014 Fancy Food Box theme was “Movie Night” and included special snacks to enjoy will you are catching up on some Oscar-winning films or just binging on Netflix!  Here is what was included:

~Just Caramel Original Caramels and Pecan Caramels (~$6):  Mmmmm.  I am not a huge fan of the pecan caramels, but the original ones?  Those are delicious.  And B will happily eat the pecan ones, so we are all good!

~Tumbador Hazelnut Dragee ($15): We received chocolate covered animal crackers from this brand a few months ago and they were the most delicious things ever.  I am going to pack these up for B for his little road trip tonight!

~Columbia River Tart Cherries ($9.25): I am generally not a fan of cherries in my cookies, so I think I am going to add these to muffins or something along those lines for the boys.   They can also be eaten as is, so they’ll work for a snack for L’s lunches.

~Owl’s Brew Pink & Black Cocktail Mixer ($4): This is a blend of black tea, hibiscus, lemon peel and agave splashed with strawberry and lemon juices.  Add your favorite liquor and it sounds to me like you’ve got an amazing cocktail.  I will have to report back on this because it’s not Happy Hour here yet. ETA: B made “a few” drinks with this the other night and loved it.  He used vodka with it and loved it.  He makes his drinks a little stronger than I would, so I didn’t love it quite as much as he did.

~The Mason Shaker ($29): Totally love.  I can’t wait to enjoy a cocktail on the patio (or up-north) made with this fun shaker.  So cute.

~Nunu Chocolates Chocolate Covered Grahams ($8):  Another amazing snack!  I am saving a few for a movie night I am hoping to have tonight (B is not always into my movies) and I can’t wait to have the rest!

~McClure’s Garlic Gill Crinkle Cut Potato Chips ($3): B saw these and was super excited.  He loves them and I am guessing they will end up on his road trip (he’s got National Guard tomorrow) as well!!

All totaled I came up with a value of about $74.25 and I loved this box.  Totally loved it. I was excited when I opened it and I am excited about it still!  I can’t recall ever being overly disappointed with the Fancy Food Box and I am not at all disappointed with this one either!

If you are thinking of ordering this or ANY of the Fancy Boxes, click here! Fancy Boxes are $39 + $7.95 shipping, but you can always use the coupon code “FOLLOWUP10″ to save 10% on any Fancy.com, order, including subscription boxes.  If you can’t find the Fancy Box you are looking for, I suggest just doing search for “Fancy Box“. It’s much easier than trying to navigate their site, which I find quite confusing at times.
