Fancy Box
Cost: $39.95/month + $7.95 S/H.
Ships To: Worldwide via FedEx.
It’s been a nasty snowy day here today, but my FedEx lady had my trouble at all dropping off my March 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box!
Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month plus shipping, has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites).
Fancy Box ships via FedEx and takes two days to arrive to me. This box shipped on Monday and I received it today (Wednesday), which is just what I expect with Fancy.
The first look? Meh. I wasn’t overly excited by anything I saw. But of course I wanted to dive in for a closer look at everything.
The March 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box information cards have notes from KR on the back saying why the products were picked, how she uses them, etc. And yes, I still save ALL my information cards from all my subscription boxes. It’s getting totally out of hand though and I really need to rethink that. Moving on though, here is what I received in the box:
~Evo Self Indulgence Body Creme ($25): Easily my favorite item in the box is the evo body creme. I am going to slather this on religiously in hopes of fixing my lizard like skin. No matter what I use, it’s still dry. Maybe I am just not using enough?
~Girls Just Wanna Have Funds Tank ($26): Not a bad tank, but just not my style at all. KR recommends wearing it with high waisted jean shorts or leggings at the gym. I can’t see either of those things happening for me, but maybe to sleep in?
~Stacking Ring Set by Luxe Cartel ($23): These are cute and I think that they would look cuter on a chain than on my fingers so that is likely what I will end up doing.
~Tattoo Set by Dcer ($23): I will probably end up giving these to L because I just don’t have any use for fake tattoos. I do recall years ago I used to wear these super cool rhinestone like tattoos (I can’t even explain it but trust me they were hot), but I think that was the last of my fake tattoo wearing.
All totaled I came up with a value of $97 for the March 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box. Boxes are $39.95/month (plus $7.95 shipping), so it was a great “value”, but it certainly wasn’t my favorite box by any means. I am super anxious for Fancy to start selling the Isaac Mizrahi Fancy Box because I badly want to see what that one is going to include!
