Petit Vour, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box of cruelty-free beauty products, hand-picked from businesses that align quality with progressive standards. I am constantly amazed by the variety and quality of the products they include and always look forward to seeing what they do.
Petit Vour ships via USPS First Class Mail and consistently ships around the 15th of the month. Their boxes always arrive on time and I have never had an issue or problem with the shipment, receiving damaged products, etc. I have no idea what happened with my first look picture, but it appears I didn’t take one. Oops!
The March 2014 Petit Vour theme is “Le Boutique” and appears to be a bit of an introduction to their online shop! It just launched and allows you to purchase items from previous boxes! Here is what was included:
~NCLA Nail Wraps ($16): While I am not sure I love this print, I do love nail wraps and like their idea about using one or two as an accent to make it less bold. It took me a while to get the hang of how to apply these, but I think I have it now!
~Lotus Wei Balancing Serum ($10): This utilized flower alchemy (I had to google for a definition on that) to bring your body back in tune. The website says that you will be able to feel a difference in your everyday state of mind in only 2-3 days. I kind of wish I wouldn’t have read that because now I probably will talk myself into feeling something, even if I really don’t (but I hope I do).
~California Naturel Skincare Set (~$5): This set is supposed to leave skin nourished, mattified and soft and 99.63% of the total ingredients are from natural origin!
~I.C.O.N.India Oil ($3.58): This oil smooths hair without weighing it down. I tested it this morning on my wild hair and it works! It doesn’t make your hair all greasy either and smells really good.
~Laface Hydrating & Firming Body Lotion (Samples): I have never had much luck with firming lotions (although I wish I did), but perhaps I just haven’t tried the right stuff? I think part of my problem is that I don’t give anything enough of a chance to work? These won’t last long enough for me to tell a difference and I am always scared to buy a full size not knowing! If you have tried this, let me know what you think.
All totaled, the March 2014 Petit Vour box had a value of $34.58, plus the value of the packets, which I didn’t calculate. Boxes are $15/month so the box was more than double the value. They are a great introduction to new products that I know I never would have tried without them! They also offer a rewards program and a referral program and offer discounts on some of the products in the box each month so you can earn free boxes!

With all the dryness this winter I have really gotten into oils for everything! I’ve had really good luck with the Jergen’s skin firming lotion only I find it does dry out your skin in the winter (made me very itchy) but I had no problems with it in the late spring through fall. I think it’s because of the caffiene in it.
Oh, that’s interesting. I may have to pick that up!
